What advice would you give to future homeowners?

For all Ids, think it is a must to always be involved in every step of the planning and reno, and to keep a watch on the timeline. Thankfully, for WHST, they will give updates on progress.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Our ID Zen was humble and patient. Our communication were smooth right from the beginning. He was also great at layout planning and never rejected any of our requests. The quoted price was reasonable. That's all we look for from an ID. We love our renovated home. Our friends like our home, too. We will certainly recommend WHST design to our friends or anyone who ask for it.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

The ID will only likely suggest design and layout for home owners. For colour mixing, owner is advised to do a research online. As for us, we referred to a number of design and colour from photos searchable online.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

I would recommend Jacky because he was very detailed and patient. I was involved in every decision making and sometimes my ideas are not practical or so but Jacky able to see it from his professional view and advice me accordingly. Very tolerant and able to deliver the project on time. The Best of all the service after sale, till today I can call Jacky for something and he will respond. Before I found Jacky I went through many designer since I have specific request about certain thing a lot designer gave me alternative which I appreciate but I still want to stick to my chosen design and materials, Jacky really invest a lot of time to find correct supplier that gave me correct products at comparable price without sacrificing the quality.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

Be true to your heart and pick a design or design something yourself. Do not follow the trend just your neighbor or relatives has it. Once make up your mind work along with the Designer to complete the project on time don’t change mind last minute this would drag your renovation time. Respect your decision. When Designer advice on certain materials that’s expensive, there must be a reason, do little research, find out more then you will be more at peace about it rather thinking they are there to ‘ketuk’ your money. Pay attention to every single details, it’s tiring and exhausting but don’t forget it’s your home where you build your family every seconds worth it. Participate in every decision making, you want your ideas to take form in reality so don’t be ‘bohcap’ about it, small, big, cheap, expensive doesn’t matter every stones and woods must have an inch of you. Don’t be afraid to say no or replace if you are not satisfied, ultimately you paid what was promised and quoted so go for it. (Don’t demand what was not agreed upon, be reasonable)

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Jacky from WHST design was recommended by a colleague. I had chosen to engage his service after a visit to his showflat previously. He came across as someone who is sincere and trustworthy whom i can trust to deliver and work with to realise my desire outcome for my resale flat. Indeed throughout the renovation process, he was always available to deal with my concern and expectations. It is also worth mentioning that he has a team of electricians, carpenters, flooring specialists and plumbers who has shown consistent professionalism and dedication in their respective roles which also helps to ensure a satisfactory outcome for us . I am glad that our faith in WHST design payoff for us in the end.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

I would suggest to future homeowners to make the effort to consult friends and family members who has experience in renovating their homes and seek their advise to improve the quality and productivity of the renovation. Be very involved in the renovation and a keen interest in the works of the contractor will let them know that you are very interested in the overall outcome of the renovation. Be sure to treat your contractors drinks and food from time to time. And also work with your ID closely and highlight flaws or defects early in the renovation process to avoid misunderstanding in the end. At the end, the effort will definitely pay off.

It was a great renovation journey with Jacky and we enjoyed every single bit. Jacky is responsible and always keeps us updated. In short, he has delivered the quality as promised. Design matches our style and lifestyle, classy yet practical. Quality is fantastic and to keep costs manageable, Jacky has alot of alternative suggestions without compromising on quality. Jacky sets very high standards on the quality of work delivered by his workers, at times, even higher standards than myself. Yet, he will not allow the re-work to greatly impact the timeline, thumbs up for that. He is very easy going and negotiable, providing what he calls a "one stop centre" for his clients, many a times going beyond his scope for his clients. Even after handover, whenever I have any issues, Jacky is always available to offer advice and assistance. It was an awesome experience and I highly recommend the WHST Design team.

The 3 key factors when I was searching for an ID was: 1. Chemistry and workability 2. Quality 3. Costs Whst design and Jacky has hit the right spot for these 3 factors so good job and I'm glad I've chosen them to deliver our dream home!

Timeline to be set n complete on time,quality of material provided ,workmanship. Able to respond fast and be honest on the rent and the material used.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

After seeing few friends' new houses which has beautifully done up by WHST, we chose WHST after some basic research. Especially in term of price. They are attentive to all quries & defects. All sub-conz are friendly and approachable. The progress is promising as we proceed phase by phase. The end result is amazing. Family is delight. Friends feeling envy. Responsibility is noted as they are still attending to my doubts even after handover.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

Most important is after the handover. Heard many bad experience about friends' handover by other ID & contractors. WHST never disappear. They always believe in "Word of Mouth".
