Our ID Jinhao never fails to consider the esthetic impact of the flow of materials from internal to external areas, and it's this attention to detail and creativity that separates him from the rest. It's been a pleasure working with him ~ Jin Hao did a great job transforming the interior of a house with a lot of empty space into a gorgeous stylish warm home both to live in and fit to entertain family and friends. Jinhao have excellent taste and a flair for the smallest details which brought a tiny home to life. He understood what I needed and based my needs to a reasonable budget. I would certainly recommend him to anyone in need of his services.

Engaged Jinhao when he was with another Company. I must say he has a good sense of colour and I like the colour and laminates he suggested for our cabinets! The colour combinations were great! Help us come up with a good idea where we can optimise our room space as you know nowadays the room size are really small. Suggested a retractable table which we like the idea a lot! So do feel free to talk to Jinhao and explore the ideas he can propose for your new home or house makeover!

The Interior Designer, Jin Hao, who helps us to design and renovate our house is an accommodating, young, considerate individual with unique taste. JinHao is also very responsive to settle defects after the renovation has been completed. We are happy with his design which outcome fall in line with our expectations. There is some slight delays in the schedule but JinHao has honestly informed ahead of the problem and manage to expedite the crunch in manpower to complete the renovation with a revised schedule. Price is quite costly but for the quality delivered is superb!

My wife and I carefully researched and approached multiple IDs and Contractors to design our home. We decided to engage Jin Hao for a number of reasons. Firstly, He listened attentively to our ideas and as much as possible accommodate. He will also provide counter proposals based on things that we might foresight. Secondly, during the asking-for-quotation phase, they (as compared to others that we approached) came out with 2D rendering of our initial design and that helped tremendously to picture how the end state would look like. During the actual renovation phase, everything was on schedule. Timeline of works were diligently updated. Any requests for rectifications to be made, were addressed within days, were possible. Quality of work was great - their service, the 3D rendering and the workmanship of the many different external parties engaged to make it possible (for example the carpenters and plumber). Post-service was very important in our decision, and we are glad that despite making full payment already, Jin Hao are ever present to amend any faults and provide us with contacts for various ideas that we'd like to add to our house. Overall, very satisfied with his services. Will definitely recommend others!

I was very fortunate to come across The Trio Design with my friend's recommendation. Our ID Lewis is very patient with us, there are times where we have our doubt and concerned, he is able to answered it and solved it for us. The quotation given to us is the most detailed quotation we ever received amongst other Reno companies I went to. Even before we sign him as our ID, the effort and details he put in is way beyond what I expected. Will definitely recommend more people to use his services.

Highly recommend Shinny & Ken from The Trio Design. They are able to have creative solutions for limited space and was able to come out with a functional yet spacious ideas. Pricing wise was reasonable and comparable with other companies, what makes them different is that they are helpful and attentive, they are able to solved the problems that I had and able to come out with even better ideas that I proposed to them, in addition to that, The Trio Design even have an in-house Mover which really solved my moving issues. Great workmanship and great moving service. Kudos to Shinny and Ken for helping me out on my house renovation.

Did a small kitchen renovation with Ken. Very committed and service oriented designer even though my job was considered small. He's very responsive when I have doubts to clear. Schedule was on time and there's no over promising which is very rare nowadays

We are the happy owners of a 98sqm apartment unit on the fifth floor in the central west of SG. After hunting around for a while, we were finally blessed to get to work with Jin Hao on our home reno! For us, the four “R” of reno are very important: Reliable, Responsive, Resourceful and Respectful. From start to finish, Jin Hao was all these things and that’s why I would strongly recommend him if you are looking for a truly inspired yet hassle-free journey for your home reno. RELIABLE: Although there were major delays at the developer side (for almost two years #thankscovid) Jin Hao stuck it out with us and delivered on all the things we had discussed from day one. Knowing how long it took for us to TOP and get our keys, once we had access to the unit, Jin Hao was on top of things and got down to business coordinating all the different elements well and ensuring that the timeline was well adhered to. He is true to his word and follows through on his commitments. This is a rare quality given the negative experience I’ve had with other ID before. RESPONSIVE: Over the course of 20 months, He kept in close contact with us and every time we had any new ideas or questions, he would quickly arrange for a meeting and update our plans. He had set up a WA group chat and we used that to keep our communications open and fresh. After the reno, the follow-up on rectifications was also done promptly and there was never any feeling like we had to chase for progress or updates. We appreciated how despite his busy schedule and handling several projects, he managed to always come back to us quickly and with quality answers. RESOURCEFUL: Along the way, there were times when certain designs didn’t quite work out as planned on paper. Jin Hao was always ready with alternatives and quick to pivot with his carpenters to make the necessary changes. One example is our shoe cabinet. We initially wanted angled shelves, but after it was fabricated and our shoes didn’t quite fit, Jin Hao quickly came up with a solution and redid it the next day. Even though it might mean additional material cost or added time, he was never stingy with his resources and always made sure that the end product was workable. RESPECTFUL: Jin Hao is a young but talented designer with fantastic ideas and solutions for both aesthetics and function. For my wife, it’s more about the look and feel, while I’m the one who I pays more attention to to functionality and maintenance considerations. Jin Hao was able to listen well, take notes, and come up with plans that suited both our needs. He even had the skill to manage both of us when discussions sometime got a bit “hot”, with our differing points of view. I just wanted to highlight this because it’s a very positive, value-added quality of his that made our experience smoother and less tense. All the best to you on your reno journey, and you would do well to consider Jin Hao and The Trio Design Studio!
