Prior to the signing of contract, Joe was very prompt to our requests and turnaround quickly with the quotation for discussion with us. He also made time to meet us to explain the details in each line item in the quotation. He took time to show us some of his projects to illustrate the quality of workmanship. Joe was able to pivot quickly to our last minute changes in terms of furniture designs, due to a change in mind of kitchen appliances. E.g. when I decided not to buy the built-in dishwasher, Joe was able to turnaroudn quickly with building in of the floor concrete for the kitchen and kitchen fittings so that the entire kitchen would look seamless. Joe is most patient with our renovation project. Many a times, we are busy with work, and could not afford the time to meet. He would accommodate to our schedule and meet us at our convenience. He contributed ideas when we were often caught dumbfounded or stuck with a problem, and did not know how to proceed with the renovation. Joe has been a very strong project management skills, and ensured that our home was completed within the timeline. Not an easy feat for a fully renovation of an inter-terrace with built-in area of over 2,600sqft. He was also careful with budget, and at times, advised against certain designs or materials for better cost effectiveness, and work with prudence in mind to help his clients. Will certainly recommend for potential clients to call upon Joe to serve you, as he is very customer-oriented and patient with his clients.

"Overhaul of a 4-decade old unit" We initially met a roadblock when our submitted renovation plans were rejected by HDB as we did not realize that the entire unit is un-hackable. Every single wall was considered structural when it was built almost 4 decades ago. This wasn't really reflected well in the HDB floorplan, as it showed thin and bold lines as per usual. However, for the first time, I've encountered thin-BOLD-lines. Dafuq. Celeste was extremely on-the-ball when we had to change the original design to cater to the un-hackable situation. Throughout the entire renovation experience, Celeste and her team of carpenters, electricians, plumbers, tilers, vinyl applicators, door suppliers, masons etc. were excellent at their craft and there was not much for me 'comment on' when I inspected the works. Despite having a substantial delay due to the availability of stock for the vinyl flooring, everything that was planned and catered for, Celeste did an excellent execution of the renovation works. The works were very comprehensive, which included the gutting of the 40-year-old unit, replacing all of the electrical wires, plumbing etc. When it came to organizing multiple contractors working on the same day / week to the final touch up works, Celeste worked her magic and got them all to come on same days which allowed me to be around for most of the rectification works. It takes 2 hands to clap between the owner and the ID when producing a creative work such as the renovation of a home. Glad that I've met Celeste and that she was the instrumental one in making my renovation vision come together. Celeste's execution is 5/5. Period. "Great ID with attention to details" We have engaged Ronald and Celeste for our home renovation in 2021 and they have always been very accommodating to our design needs. Great Workmanship and Professionalism!" My husband and I are very satisfied with the workmanship and the professionalism that Mr Designer Studio showed since our first meet up until the end. The designs they offered are great, classy and comfortable, just as we would like our house to be. Lewis and Sebastian really did a good job in coordinating all the work, and very professional and patient even when we had 1001 questions and requests before, during, and after the work was done. I especially commended on the works of their floorings, glass partitions and glass doors, and carpentry around the house. All are done very well. "Meticulous and professional ID" We were both thrilled to see our dream house in real life. We've shared with Sebas on the kind of design we wanted and also he has also suggested useful tips to suit our lifestyle and environment. My husband and I have different thoughts about our house at first and he is able to combine both our interests into 1. Sebas did a good job in coordinating all the work, and very professional and patient we us even when we have any last min requests or concerns. We are grateful for the nice work and for bringing our dream house to life! Design the designs are both practical and nice, round edges to prevent kids from knocking and materials chosen to prevent rust and moldy. Workmanship the workmanship is good, everything fits well accordingly and able to rush it out in such a short duration but manage to produce a quality result. Service Sebas is very patient with us although we have a lot of requests and changes needed during the project. Value for Money Have gotten quite a few quotations and I would say the services provided, design, and workmanship is worth the price.

We initially had some communication issues with Issac and almost wanted to terminate the relationship. However after an honest conversation, we sorted out the problems. The end design was similar to the 3D version and what we wanted. So far the workmanship seems good and Isaac was quite prompt to address any issues we had. One advice to other homeowners is to be very detailed in your description and preferences so that the ID can give you what you want. The timeline has to be communicated clearly as our renovation was delayed for another 10 days. Budget wise, it was more than expected ($20,000 more) as costs went up for additional items and also the electrician who worked with the ID. We bought pendant lights online and home furniture on our own. Overall it’s the design of the ID that’s the main highlight here. Design Have to be very detailed and specific about your needs so that ID can deliver. We have to chase for 3D version in order to visualise the final result. Workmanship Seems ok for now, hope it will last long time. So far it looks good and nothing gives way yet. But the finer details like dirt or stains on the laminate, they don’t take note. We have to wipe ourselves or tell ID if we can’t remove it on our own. Service ID can be busy to take calls and we bought stuff on our own as ID didn’t accompany us. Any issues with design, we whatsapp him and he responds but may not be prompt. Value for Money The electrician, the false ceilings and additional work like adding sticker to glass are pricey. Renovation was also delayed for 10 days.

A home remodelling project with Lennon Soh of Mr Designer Studio that went totally right" We scouted for whom we want to engage in our home remodelling about 3 months before our project was scheduled to start. High on our list were 3 criteria: - Timeline - Design approach - Budget With that in mind, we were very selective with those that we met because it’s quite daunting having to retell our story several times over to different people; it’s like putting a record in loop, and it would be a waste of everybody’s precious time if that endeavour left us with an unhappy feeling afterward. Anyway, we reached out to 5 interior designers in total over a span of 1 week. We were ready with design ideas and loads of questions; almost all said they would come back to us in the next 3 to 5 days with a proposal after that first meeting. Lennon of Mr Designer Studio was the last of the lot that we sat down with and his proposal was presented to us on the same very day of our meeting (a couple of hours later, to be exact) with detailed costing. He went through with us his quotation line by line; very transparent I must say and the in-depth discussion got us more clarity. At the end of his presentation, we decided to go with him. Throughout our working with him on our home remodelling project, we were kept excited. Lennon was a good listener and solution oriented designer. He addressed challenges head on and was quick to respond to fix any issue at the core preventing the concerns from becoming a problem. He stayed engaged with us and his attention to details and advise on material selections, colour hues, forms and functions, and professional inputs were absolutely invaluable. But above all, his close watch on our tight timeline had helped minimise the impact of the disruption to my daily life and that of my family’s, and his diligence in keeping us updated of any potential inevitable shifting milestones proved critical in us recalibrating our expectations as we progress through the project. At the end of the day, as a client, we look forward to a pleasant experience with our home remodelling project. He was an exceedingly polite gentleman who was serious about meeting the needs of his clients, and had on many occasions went out of his way to help. We had engaged Ronald as our interior designer for our 4 Room BTO. As it was our first home, we were not clear on technical aspects and he was patient in explaining to us with hand drawn drawings to help us visualize. On top of that, he kindly brought us down to different showrooms to select materials throughout the process. He is responsive when we have questions which is something we really appreciate. Our renovation budget was kept as well. Finally, the workmanship for most items were good and minor flaws were rectified after we shifted in. We were being referred to Ronald and his team when we submitted our enquiry via Qanvast. What stood out to us was Ronald's ability to think out of the box, willingness to cater to our needs and facilitating our ideas without brushing us off. He is also very good with giving us a visual picture right on the spot thus making it very easy for us to understand. Among all the other ID companies we initially visited, he was the only one who could do that. And that to us, that was a key factor. The project was also very well handled especially given the fact that me and my wife were constantly not in town due to our job commitments. We got quick response from Ronald and team after showing him our floorplan and what kind of vibe we are looking at for our new home. Both my husband and myself shortlisted 6 ID firms for our flat, and the only person and firm that impressed us was Ronald from Mr Designer Studio. We sat down and talked about how we want and envisioned our place to be, and he don’t impose his ideas on us. He sits and listens to our wants and needs and literally drawing our ideas on the spot for us on our first visit. We were impressed. None of any other firms did that for us. He was outgoing and easy to talk to, and we were comfortable talking to him. Having a ID whom you’re comfortable with makes communicating easier. We had engaged Ronald for our 4 Room BTO renovation in 2021. He is experienced and competent enough to give practical advice on things that we didn’t know is not practical. As first-time homeowners, there are certain designs that might clutter the design aspect of the place. Ronald is a realistic and no-nonsense person so he will try his best to understand our needs and make your dream home come true. Renovation was a breeze and completed within our timeline. We were well assured throughout the process that everything was going well as he does site visits on our behalf with prompt video updates. "Responsive and responsible" The service provided by Joe was indeed top notch. He never fails to respond to the queries promptly. Moreover, he is always willing to go the extra mile to ensure whatever problems faced are rectified. For example, he is even willing to accommodate to my busy schedule and meet up late at night. "4 Room Resale Reno with Mr Designer Studio" Went with ID firm - Mr Designer Studio, and Celeste was our ID for the project. After evaluating on many ID firms, we went with Celeste due to her reasonable quotations and good workmanship after visiting her showroom and her flexibility in going with the farmhouse/scandi theme and specific designs that we wanted. Celeste has always been responsible and responsive to all our requests (most of the time last-minute changes), and she has been very kind and patient with us being first-time home owners while trying to navigate our way through the entire renovation process. We particularly liked her carpenter whom has been of great help to us during the reno process, and his eye for detail in his workmanship. Even after our renovation has been completed, Celeste still willingly attends to all our needs & requests whenever we have issues - for e.g. last-minute handyman work, painting touch-ups, toilet-bowl servicing, etc and she assured us to attend to our needs along the way and even down the years. It has been a really long journey for us, but we're glad Celeste was there throughout to supervise and attend to all our needs during this period which made our renovation journey very fulfilling. My designer, Lewis, give us great tips for different spaces in the home we are building. He helped us figure out what look we are going for and how to make the most of the space. Most importantly, Lewis was always available via email/phone to help talk me through any confusion or challenges along the way. Lewis kept us updated every step of the way and truly listened to our design wants and needs, he completely catered to our style and schedule. Being able to see the house from our eyes was the deciding factor as majority of his suggested colours and design were exactly what we wanted. Service Lewis was open to our ideas and help place the right emphasis in creating space and a sophisticated look to the whole design. He was also able to guide us on matters that we are absolutely clueless. Value for Money As with all renovation works completion, there were bound to be defects which require rectifications. Lewis followed-up with the defects we highlighted and was very accommodating to our high expectations (I must admit I have an eye for details and is a perfectionist). Overall, would I engage his service again in the future? The answer is absolutely!

"Best interior designer in town - Alice Law!" My wife and I strongly recommend Alice Law from Mr Designer Studio, for her professionalism and experience in managing the renovation work from start to finish. Since this was our first house, like many others we wanted to deco a dream house, we actually did go through many different IDs, even reached out to various contractors separately. Gotta admit our requirement and expectation of quality standard quite high.. cost was only our 2nd concern. We came to know Alice through a friend recommendation. To our surprise, through our engagement with Alice, she was able to throughoutly explain everything in details, and breakdown into the most granular specific items of work that need to carry out. Alice was attentive to our request, and extremely patient... not everything we wanted makes sense and we came to realize after Alice tried her best to explain and gives alternative solutions that are much more practical. Now that we have moved in living in the house, and even more than happy we followed most of Alice's advices. During the course of work, we actually came to site visit occationally and checked certain details as we stay quite nearby. To our great satisfaction, things went on smoothly. We quite surprised that Alice, as seems to appear quite gentle and nice, could be quite firm and strict to the workers/contractors, and even checked thjngs in more details than us.. every corner. I suppose one could imagine how tough it is to communicate and instruct with the "foreign workers" but she did it jolly well. On the project management aspect, our lovely home, a 5-room flat fullon reno with lots of hacking and modification - was able to complete in 1.5months, given its during covid period when manpower was scarce. Alice did pre-empt us that we might face some delay but she would try her best to arrange. From hacking, plastering, tilings, marble/parque floors, electrical work (rewiring whole house with many 2-way switches, and running cables to each room), false ceilings in all rooms, kitchen, toilets, water proofing, balcony, service yards, windows & grilles, doors, gates, locks, carpentries, curtains, accessories, etc..somehow magically all these fit in schedule just nice!!! Of course there was some small mistakes, patchup work to be done, Alice provides good after-service, and followup to make sure everything is perfect. She was prompt to arrange workers to fix/patchups things at no extra cost. Last but not least, Alice also managed to give us discount/promo when possible!! And even gave us some free gifts and housewarming gifts. Thanks you Alice and company for making our dream house a reality and our first encounter to renovation a pleasant one. We definitely will die-die look for you again in 5-10 years when we want to reno again!!

"Thank you Alice for our beautiful home!" The moment we met senior ID Alice Law, we knew she was the right ID for us.. and if we hesitated any longer, her schedule might be too packed to accept our renovation! What stood out the most was she intuitively understood our concept and ideas that we had for our home and got to know our personality and preferences quickly. "Review of Renovation Works and Overall Product Life Cycle" I was introduced to Alice by another mutual friend, and after renovations, i understand why she is highly rated. The experience with Mr Designer is as such 1) Meticulous: attention to detail, she surfaced issues for discussion, issues we didnt even know existed. Eg, the cupboard board angle of turning *right to left or left to right), or the pull out table dimensions (minimal walkway required). 2) Ability to tell u when your preferred design does not work. I wanted a wine cabinet for chill at my balcony and all designers i approached said ok, but Alice was different as she knew the concept will not be approved via condo management and suggested a layer of artificial greenery (with lights) instead which actually made the chilling balcony area even more cosy. 3) Attentive and quick to resolve issues: She is quick to resolve any issues and i often feel embarrassed texting her 1 am at night about the cove lights and other late night thoughts that i will suddenly have on designs, on material, etc. But i have always been confident of her reply and professionalism in tackling the issues raised. 4) Organized explanation: Detailed explanation on what can be done what cannot be done and if your budget is within the scope of work. She will also propose other alternatives which you may not even know due to her experience in this field. 5) Finalized picture was so similar to the ID pictures: I have heard of horror stories of ID pre reno pictures differing greatly . So i was naturally apprehensive at first, but i was amazed at the final product. 6) Time taken for reno was about 3 months, a bit more due to covid issues which we understand. More importantly, workmanship was not dipped and this is kudos to the relationship and oversight of Alice over her contractors. I heard her scolding one contractor at one side and i laughed. I think management of contractors is an important aspect as well as her constant supervison. This made us have an ease of mind and my wife and me didnt even go down much to supervise the site due to the trust we had in Alice. If u ask me, how is Alice (Mr Designer Studio)? 3 words: Worth Every Penny. If you are confused who to get make the right choice, and engage them :) I Did, and i am glad. "Do not believe what you read, experience it!" Learning from my previous bad experience with my old ID, which was 8 years ago, this time around (around Aug), I shortlisted a few IDs all based on online reviews before getting my house key end of Oct. I made sure that these ID conpanies do not have negative reviews and My Designer is one of them. My Designer was quick in responding to my enquires through their online messages, as it was one of the few companies that offer online consultation, due to Covid situation. Alice suggested to meet face to face instead because she felt that she could show us the materials and understand our concerns clearer. We were a bit hesitant because of the Covid situation and we were also very concerned with some hard selling from companies. But we ultimately decided to meet her because as you can see that based on the online reviews, there were many positive reviews about her. To summarise the first meeting, we showed her some of the pictures that we liked from her company portfolios, AND it happened to be mainly her work! There was no hard selling, she tried to understand what we wanted and shared with us what could be done and what not. We also dropped her the bomb that we needed the house to be done within 6 weeks, she did share that most of the companies could only promised 3 months but she would try to book the workers in advance. She also ended the meeting telling us to compare with some other companies before committing. I mean how many IDs will encourage you to do that? Within a week, she arranged another meeting, with more of her proposed plans (from her previous projects) and gave us a rough quotation. To be honest, we were very impressed with her professional advice and we decided to sign the contract with her without seeing a second ID, which could be a risk and could be another mistake again! But we decided to go with our gut feel as we felt that she is someone we can trust. Knowing that we had a short deadline, she gave us all the Saturday appointments in September to meet and finalised all the details. She is very amazing as she did all the plans and measurement based solely on one given floor plan. She did not go into our house for measurements as we could only get our keys end of Oct. Knowing our concerns and preference, she was able to give her very practical advice on the materials that we chose. When we finally got our keys, she went to the house with the contractor to finalised the measurements the very next day so that they could start work as soon as possible. During the 6 weeks, there were hiccups more from our side. For example, we forgot to arrange for water and electricity to be turned on but we needed to have the workers to start work because of fengshui. She really made sure her workers did something with limited water and no electricity on that day! Another example was when the sanitary company failed to deliver the shower set in advance, she told us that she would get ready to contact her supplier if need be. She is always ready to help us to resolve our problems. She would regularly update the progress of the renovation. It was so assuring that we did not felt the need to drop by the house for the first few weeks of the renovation. Towards the end of the renovation, when we realised some issues, she is always quick to resolve all the problems. We also got to meet some of the people she worked with, for example the electrician and contractor, they all had very very good reviews of her, which I think she did not know. They all had the same comments about her, which is she is very good and experienced. Now, here I am in my newly renovated house writing this review because she had did the impossible of fully renovated the house within 6 weeks, which many of my friends were surprised with! We do have friends who are still renovating after 3 months. We also had friends who told us that they preferred male IDs because they are more willing to get their hands dirty. I can say that Alice is always looking very pretty and nicely dressed but she has definitely gotten down on her knees on our dirty floor, fixing our lighting issues and cleaning dirt with her bare hands. Lastly, I have always thought that some of the reviews uploaded must have been requested by the IDs or companies, now here I am feeling impressed by her professionalism, just felt that I need to create an account to share this positive experience. Maybe you do not believe what you read too, so experience it yourself!

"The underdog of Renovation Company" We started our ID hunting since first quarter of the year. We did up our renovation deck and send out for faster quotes, we wanted ID as we want to hire a project coordinator to settle all the work schedules as we do not have the luxury of time to do so when hiring a contractor. Mainly search on Facebook as its easier to see past projects and reviews. Finally settled with Mr Designer studio as the ID was very updated with the proposed quotes and prompt replies on whatsApp. After comparing with other 3-4 firms, we settled with them as their prices were very competitive and Celeste was sincere to start this project as its her first modern farmhouse project and we liked her due to her bubbly and nice personality. She was the first ID we met and we have refered to our friend as well whom successfully hired her too! Because this is our second home and we are well aware of the mistakes we did for first reno, we were at the site when most of the major works were being done. Timeline was good but hiccups happen along the way which were inevitable. We collaborated with Celeste along the obstacles we met and all of them were addressed beautifully! Their contractors are no doubt hidden underdogs. We loved every single works done from tiling, electricals and also carpentry. Everything were perfect and our dream home came true! However due to covid, timeline got delayed and we were forced to move in as we need to vacate the old unit. The idea of moving into an incomplete renovated house was never what we wanted but Celeste ensured that it is in a livable condition. Came to our surprise, it indeed is! Minor works are still ongoing during our first 2 week in our new house but the contractors are very professional in making sure that they do not disrupt our daily activities. Mr Designer have such an excellent team of contractors. We are impressed with their impeccable works. Our home now looks beautiful, it feels like hotel! Kids love to bathe in their new bathroom, our master bedroom is super cozy and we have hosted our family till late nights cos its just that cozy in our home. We are so grateful to our ID, specifically Celeste in making our dream home a reality.

"An ID firm worthy of all the good reviews!" As I'm writing this, I notice that it might look like it’s a hired review. It honestly wasn't. I'm writing this because we feel this is the best way to express our most sincere gratitude to Ms. Alice Law of Mr. Designer Studio, for the excellent service which she and her team had rendered us. We also hope this review will be helpful to people looking to engage an interior designer, especially 1st timers. After comparing the quotations from a few ID firms, we decided to go for Mr. Designer Studio. We approached Alice because of so many positive reviews about her service. While their quotation was neither the cheapest nor most expensive, we really like how detailed and knowledgeable Alice was. The vibes she gave us were that of assurance and confidence. She was able to capture and understand our style so well! My wife and I have very different taste in decor, so there is a fine line we navigate when decorating. Well, Alice totally nailed it! Fast-forward to the renovation itself. This was the time when having a dedicated and responsible interior designer was crucial and we were glad we had Alice. We are both working (long-hours kind, sadly) and Alice virtually handled everything from A to Z. From permit application with the management office, to daily unlocking the door for the workers, to progress monitoring, she handled all. Alice understood we are tied-up and she never failed to send us photos and videos of the progress regularly. When it was time to shop for fittings and appliances, Alice accompanied us (even on weekends) just to ensure that the stuff we purchased were in-line with the décor theme. What truly touched us was the dedication Alice had in her work. There was one evening (near completion) when my wife and I decided to go to the house to have a look. "Mr darren law" We engaged Mr Darren Law from Mr Desiger Studiofor a home renovation project from Oct to Dec 2021 in the middle of Covid. He is responsive, experienced and is able to deliver the project on time. "Good recommendation from relative" Joycelyn was recommended to me by my relative and good gracious that I went to connect with her. She was very helpful throughout the entire process with our renovation. She was very patient, efficient and knowledgeable in her area of expertise. "Best reliable interior designer" We relocated our home several times in the past two decades and have always appointed an interior designer to spice up the house. Each time, a different ID was appointed as the previous ones we used were either passable at best, or that they were no longer in business. Fast-forward to the current day, we were on the hunt for an ID again after purchasing a 3BR apartment. We scoured the internet meticulously reading reviews after reviews before shortlisting 3 highly-rated ID firms. We finally decided on Mr. Designer Studio after meeting the designer from each of the three firms. In short, we chose Mr. Designer Studio for their competitive pricing and their expert know-how of the contemporary concept we were after. Now, renovating a home during COVID-19 is a daunting task for any home-owners, with high risk of delays due to manpower and material shortages. Our previous renovation experiences taught us that one can never judge how good (or bad) an ID is until the completion. We also grasped that a good ID is one who is sensitive to the home-owners’ needs, knowledgeable and responsible. We learnt that Mr. Designer Studio employs their own team of workers, from carpenters to electricians etc. This is crucial as they were able to control the quality and punctuality of their works more efficiently, as opposed to many ID firms that use subcontractors these days. Our prayers were answered with Alice - the designer assigned to us. Right from the start, Alice was quick in furnishing us with the quotation, the first among the 3 firms. She did a site visit with us even before we appointed her, something which the rest of the IDs were reluctant to. When the renovation started, Alice diligently updated us the progress by regularly whatsapp-ing us videos and photos. When we shopped for appliances and furniture, she accompanied us to offer her views and advice. But it was how Alice went out of the way to help us that was truly remarkable. On many occasions when we were tied down by work, she assisted to coordinate our deliveries and installations when we could not be around. She even went one step further to check on the installations, calling up the companies by her own initiatives when she felt that the installation could be done better. Two months later, Mr. Designer Studio kept to their words and delivered the completed haven back to us right on time (in fact, 5 days earlier than scheduled). Their workmanship was excellent and any flaws were rectified satisfactorily. Alice even anticipated it and got their painting staff to touch up our home again after we moved in as our movers had earlier on stained some walls. It is Alice’s dedication and passion for her work, that truly differentiates her from the rest of the IDs we experienced before. We take this moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to the whole team from Mr. Designer Studio. We will definitely be looking for Alice again when it’s time to create our next Wonderland.

I am so glad that we picked Lennon as our ID for my parents house. This is the first time that we are hiring an ID and we did not know what to expect. We are a very shy family but we warmed up to him in no time due to his friendly and bubbly personality. Lennon is very patient and answered queries even when my parents asked repetitive duplicate questions. We definitely felt that we were in good hands, my parents and I had many ideas and suggestions and he is open to listen and does not shut any of our ideas down, giving suggestions to add on to ours to help us decide. When i asked for my cousin for recommendations for interior design services, i thought it will be a normal journey to go through normal renovations. Eventually, i wanted Marble concept but my Interior designer Joe, recommended me a mix of scandinavian and Marble design. Joe did not hesitate to recommend creative ideas and suggestion pertaining to the design concept, he was very detailed ,hardworking and outgoing at the same time he was also very patient and attentive towards client needs. The concept of the house turned out to be so beautiful that anyone that has stepped in has given positive feedbacks. The house theme consisting of the wall colours and built in fixtures just fix in perfectly. Everything turned out to be perfect. I am an extremely fickle minded person ,thus it was hard to decide however ,through his assurance it boosted my confidence for the choice of design,fixtures and layouts. Joe is always early in appointments for eg. Gas installments, liaising with electrician for installing of electric, meet up consultation and he tried his best to liaise with the contractors to discuss the final price of the fixtures. Sometimes ,when i wasnt at home and require his help for some delivery items for him to be around, he wont hesitate to help me and advised the delivery person to give his number. I was very stressed working 2 jobs and have very limited time and having a tough time to juggle through however, he understood all this and tried his best to fit in my schedule and went out of his way to even meet me for further follow ups pertaining to the renovation. Joe is very funny and outgoing as well, and the communication goes very smoothly as he has a very cheerful personality. At times he would treat me like a little brother to buy food and also drive me around for a ride on his car to buy lightings,bathroom items and some other household items, which forms a bond throughout at the same time i also treated him like a bigger brother. My partner and I were very sure that we wanted an Interior Designer to handle the renovation of our home - in bustling Singapore we felt that the savings made from working directly with contractors wouldn’t be worth all the additional stress that came with running your own renovation project. We met with at least ten Interior Design firms before we met one that we were certain we would sign with. However my partner and I decided to give one last company, Mr. Designer Studio, a chance because their colourful portfolio indicated that the company was capable of delivering a variety of home design concepts. It was one of the best decisions we have ever made. Issac from Mr. Designer Studio made the entire renovation process smooth, fun, and he was such a joy to work with. Issac was assigned to our project and he immediately understood the design ethos of the home. He produced multiple design proposals and aesthetic quirks to incorporate into our home after considering the various needs and wants of my partner and I. He took the time to listen to the various requirements we listed, and advised us on what would work in a home, and even made us consider aspects of home design that we would not have even thought of had we done the renovation ourselves. At the end of it all, he proposed a design idea that we fell in love with, at an extremely competitive cost. All thoughts of signing with the other ID flew out the window and we chose to go with Mr. Designer Studio. We’ve all heard of the horror stories of Interior Design firms disappearing with cash, renovation delays, under-delivering on what was promised, shoddy workmanship, and the list goes on. With Issac, we never felt anything like that at all. He gave us consistent updates, alleviating any anxiety we had with specific design recommendations, and handled hiccups with such speed and professionalism that we never once felt that we had no reason to trust him. The workmanship of his team of contractors is excellent, and the quality of work provided flew above and beyond all expectations. Most importantly, from the beginning we felt that Issac truly made the effort to understand what we wanted in our home, which made the entire process painless. Before my husband and I went house hunting, Mr Designer Studio was already on our short-list. A year later when we secured a house, we went to them for a consultation. We were met with Jason and we have no regrets at all. From the start, Jason was clear and one with our plans and what we had in mind. The suggestions and advise he gave us were helpful with our benefit being priority. Suffice to say, we definitely got more than what we paid for, thanks to Jason. One additional thing that we cannot thank him enough for was that there were little to no delays on his end. Our ID is Joe. We’re very happy with him. He is very committed and reliable. He never fail to answer to our queries even at night (Joe, sorry for disturbing you so often). He ensured that all our concerns are addressed accordingly and will always be on-site to follow up with his contractors. Regarding our air-con recess area where birds are making their home, he came with a solution to resolve and beautify the area. We were introduced to Mr Designer Studio during our search for an ID by Qanvast after providing our extremely challenging timeline. After going through and meeting no less then 10 IDs, looking through all their quotations, past projects and discussing with the IDs. We selected Celeste from Mr Designer to work on our project. It was a fantastic choice and Celeste managed to renovate our house within the timeframe and within the Budget we set. From meeting to selecting to handover of the renovation, it took less then 30 days. That is how tight the timeline was and it was all done flawlessly. Out of the 5 IDs I met, Lea struck me as one who is able to balance design elements and practicality, and does not hard sell. She also advised on the pros and cons, and the alternatives. He responds very promptly and has an eye for detail, even at the touch-up phase. Her designs are exactly what we wanted and she understands her clients very well from what we went through. Although there are some hiccups through out the renovation but she still manage to solve all the issues in a short period of time. Highly recommended!

Met up with him before CNY to get a sensing on the price and what design options are avalible in the market.darren took the time to share with us some projects as well things for our consideration before we jump into any conclusions. Decided to entrust the project to Darren and as planned, our project was completed perfectly in the time frame of 1 month as initially promised. the whole process was fuss free for us. We have engaged Lennon as our ID for our home renovation during pre-covid through post-covid period. Lennon is experienced and creative in giving ideas on our renovation. He is able to provide ‘out of the box’ design/idea which is why we decided to select him as ID. Our renovation process was smooth. Lennon brought us to select our tiles and carpentry too. One amazing experience was that he drove us to select our carpentry laminates during our lunch time when both my wife and I were working at different office locations. we are very happy with the job done by Lewis and his team. The work was all done while we were overseas. Lewis is very responsive to our needs and requests. He went beyond our expectations to fill the gap while we are overseas. we had late-night conference calls to discuss the design, he sent us updates of the work and photos to show us the progress. he ensured us to have a peace of mind while we were away from the renovation work. After we moved in in February, Lewis continued to support us in improving the house, responding to our needs to make sure we live comfortably in the new house. The interior design market in Singapore is very competitive, each designer has his/her own strengths and specialized areas. I came across Mr Designer Studio and Ocean was my designer. Not only did Ocean gave very competitive quotes, he gave my 17-year-old resale HDB a complete makeover. This is no easy feat considering my house is relatively old and comes with surprises such as cracked and slanted walls, and I have very young children which means the design must cater to their growing up needs. Throughout the entire renovation journey, Ocean never spared any effort to pay attention to fine details such as laminate edging, heights of compartments, choice of colours and textures, lighting, plumbing and most important of all, no sharp corners for all carpentry. Ocean has a strong sense of responsibility and you can go to work with a peace of mind knowing things get done without fail. Most importantly, Ocean LISTENS to you and designs according to what you need, rather than impose on you what he thinks is nice but may not be suitable for you. If there’s something you want out of a dream home but he thinks it’s not practical, he is not afraid to share his views and give his professional advice with you so that he can jointly plan with you to avoid unexpected VOs. Even after the renovation works are completed (i.e. post saleOcean will still attend to your queries or calls for rectification (e.g. he will activate his contractors to repair or touch up works that were not done to perfection). Over in all, Mr Designer Studio is a safe choice for people who want to outsource your renovation works and get a well designed dream home. Now that Singapore is in a circuit breaker mode due to COVID and that we are all encouraged to stay at home, all the more I start to appreciate the works Ocean has done to overhaul and make over my resale HDB. Got in contact with many IDs but when my fiance & I came across ID Celeste from Mr Designer Studio, she was the only one that was able to clearly understand what me & my fiance needs. Been searching around multiple ID firms, however Lea stood out the most. She is attentive to small details and able to catch traits of my lifestyle without me telling her! She used these traits to create a functional home for me. I was unable to grasps what Lea is explaining, as I couldn’t visualise. But she impressed me with sketching out the ideal cabinet configurations for me. During the whole renovation, there were slight delays due to covid-19. Designer: Isaac Low I came across one of Mr. Designer Studio completed projects on social media, which caught our eye, and Isaac was recommended to us as the designer for that particular project. Like most new home owners embarking on a renovation journey, we consulted several ID firms for advice and comparison but the decision was easy to make as Isaac has an eye to capture & conceptualize what we are looking for while considering factors like making economic sense and design practicality. Importantly, it was the attention to details and meticulous approach, which was a few notches above other IDs we met. When our keys came, Isaac was quick to step in to commence project management by helping with defect checks and drawing up the expected timeline. The renovation journey was smoother beyond our expectations despite the manpower crunch with the backdrop of a pandemic. We were constantly updated on the progress with photos, and we were also consulted us on specific details before proceeding certain installation or configuration - Something which we fully appreciate as our opinions are incorporated into our new home. Liaising with vendors like electricians was a breeze as Isaac acted as a good center point of contact for us. Renovation took about 9 weeks from start to handover, overwhelmingly impressive given the current COVID-19 situation, and there were extensive works like hacking of walls involved (we were expecting 12-15 weeks) The end product is outstanding with excellent workmanship delivered. Doing a quick comparison to the 3D renderings, we notice there is little to none deviation from the initial concepts where our demands and requests (wherever practical) are met with Isaac support. Alice was the ID that worked in our new place. She is professional and knowledgeable. Id :Ocean This is our first home , we met up with around 5-6 designers and mr designer studio was 1 of the company. They assigned Ocean to us , After a few round of meetups , we decided with ocean for reasonable pricing and he understands more about design then others. Designer: Isaac Low My wife and I came across one of Mr Designer Studio completed project on social media which caught our eye and Isaac was recommended to us as the designer for that particular project. Like most new home owners embarking on a renovation journey, we consulted several ID firms for advice and comparison but the decision was easy to make as Isaac has an eye to capture & conceptualize what we are looking for while considering factors like making economic sense and design practicality. Importantly, it was the attention to details and meticulous approach which was a few notches above other IDs we met. When our keys came, Isaac was quick to step in to commence project management by helping with defect checks and drawing up the expected timeline. The renovation journey was smoother beyond our expectations despite the manpower crunch with the backdrop of a pandemic. We were constantly updated on the progress with photos and we were also consulted us on specific details before proceeding certain installation or configuration - Something which we fully appreciate as our opinions are incorporated into our new home. Liaising with vendors like electrician was a breeze as Isaac acted as a good center point of contact for us. Renovation took about 9 weeks from start to handover, overwhelmingly impressive given the current COVID-19 situation and there were extensive works like hacking of walls involved (we were expecting 12-15 weeks) The end product is outstanding with excellent workmanship delivered. Doing a quick comparison to the 3D renderings, we notice there is little to none deviation from the initial concepts where our demands and requests (wherever practical) are met with Isaac support. Since this was our first house, like others we wanted to deco a dream house, we went through many different IDs and various contractors separately. After we meet up with Alice, she was attentive to our request, and was extremely patient. Her professional advice and expertise on colours/ideas/designs were spot on and perfect for our home. She kept the renovation within our budget and was not pushy for us to overspend also she was able to throughout explain everything in details, and breakdown into the most specific items of work that need to carry out. Although not everything we wanted makes sense and we came to realize after Alice tried her best to explain and gives alternative solutions that are much more practical. Importantly, she intuitively understood our concept and ideas that we had for our home and got to know our design, ideas and preferences quickly. Which was a PLUS POINT for us to decide which ID to use, as it is very important for an ID to be able to understand our design, request and listen to our needs & preference. During the course of work, we came to site visit occasionally and checked certain details. Things went on smoothly and Alice was flexible to allow us to use our own contractor for electric/wiring works. This was another PLUS POINT. She even go to the extend on checking with her own contractor how certain things could be done when our contractor may not have the best idea how to make it work. The renovation period was entirely worry free as Alice would constantly communicate and keep us in the loop of the day's work. Of course, there was some small mistakes, patch-up work to be done and she would look into it once we have highlighted to her and she will find a way to resolve within her means. Alice provides good after-service, and follow-up to make sure everything is perfect. Her advice and assistance was literally just a call/text away and she would reply immediately! Our ID was Debby, who did an amazing transformation of our home which we could never imagine. Everything was meticulously planned out and executed by her and we are extremely satisfied with the results! We never imagined to have the perfect dream home that we have right now and we can only usher our appreciation to debby for her help with this. debby was always attentively listening to our needs and wants and never failed to update us on the progress of the renovation. Even though my wife and I had very busy schedules due to work commitments and could only schedule meets on certain days, Debby was very understanding and would go out of her way to adapt to us. This was our first time doing house renovation. Compared to the other interior designs that we interviewed, we choose Mr Designer Studio because we can see that Estelle is passionate explaining about the design, options, etc within the budget that we had and comfortable to talk to. During the project, she was always responsive to our messages & calls and assured us about the project completion. We appreciate her effort in answering, giving examples with photos whenever we were asking her questions. The workmanship is generally pretty good but we feel that carpentry (wardrobe) can be improved. Other requests and small issues like changing the tiles because we don’t like the particular pattern, Estelle followed up without hesitation. Even after we move in, Any touch-up that’s needed, Estelle will send down her people pretty fast. Like other renovation projects, there will be bumps along the way and Estelle managed the budget and timeframe pretty well. Advice for those who are looking for interior design, find an ID that you are comfortable with since you are going to work with them for a period of time. There’s no point in having the cheapest proposal at the beginning but along the way you cant work well together. We recommend Mr. designer if you are looking for an ID that listens to their customer, able to do the job well, within reasonable time and budget. Renovating and moving house is tiring. We have shortlisted 3 interior design companies and spent weeks doing research and discussions before finally deciding to engage Mr Designer Studio service. Our ID Issac has helped to follow through the project and is professional with his work with good project management and plannings. He has good communication with his contractors and works were done as conveyed. They will update you promptly the status of progress with fast response when u have any queries. ID: Issac Low We decided to engage him as he is very honest and transparent on the pricing with us as we have very limited budget (we were very afraid on the miscellaneous charges, he even took the effort to give us a rough estimation of every detailed item on the quotation) which make us feel at ease to know the total cost prior renovation is within budget. There were some hiccups during the renovation however Issac went straight to help us resolve it quickly even before we went up to check it out. Thank you Lewis & Team, Joe for making this renovation process well and smooth!! Hubby and I are absolutely happy with the final output. He has successfully turned the HDB flat into somewhat a cosy hotel suite! We couldn’t ask for more as the renovation was exactly as per what we have envisioned months ago. We have received multiple compliments from friends, family and colleagues that the renovation added coziness and it feels like they were stepping into a private condominium. Joe understood what we wanted and advised us on the design, colours and right furnishing & fittings to purchase. He studied our layout and helped us to MAXIMISE our small space. He is always responsive and open to suggestions. He possesses warm and friendly personality. We all work very well together. He is creative as well. We had some fengshui kitchen layout request which will deviate from the original plan. He was quick to revert with better solution. Of course, all renovation have ups, downs and opps. We greatly appreciate how Joe took responsibility of some minor hiccups that we highlighted and was quick to rectify. He is honest in delivering the reno and he do not overpromise. He is willing to go to an extra mile to ensure that all reasonable requests are met. Looking back…… we ALMOST engaged “main contractor” instead of MDS in the name of saving $$. After 3 rounds of PAINFUL initial meetings with 2 main con, we realised main contractors have MINIMAL design skills and lack creativity. And you must be hands on and ready to commit hours in liaising with them and be on site to monitor. The savings were not great honestly and we felt it was not worth it at all. So glad that we had MDS to levy our stress! I would highly recommend Mr Designer Studio especially if you have hectic schedules and need to leave your house in good hands! We also appreciate the over and above personal touch that joe have especially after we moved in. He popped by our place several times just to ensure that things are alright and working well.

My partner and I were very sure that we wanted an Interior Designer to handle the renovation of our home - in bustling Singapore we felt that the savings made from working directly with contractors wouldn’t be worth all the additional stress that came with running your own renovation project. We met with at least ten Interior Design firms before we met one that we were certain we would sign with. However my partner and I decided to give one last company, Mr. Designer Studio, a chance because their colourful portfolio indicated that the company was capable of delivering a variety of home design concepts. It was one of the best decisions we have ever made. Issac from Mr. Designer Studio made the entire renovation process smooth, fun, and he was such a joy to work with. Issac was assigned to our project and he immediately understood the design ethos of the home. He produced multiple design proposals and aesthetic quirks to incorporate into our home after considering the various needs and wants of my partner and I. He took the time to listen to the various requirements we listed, and advised us on what would work in a home, and even made us consider aspects of home design that we would not have even thought of had we done the renovation ourselves. At the end of it all, he proposed a design idea that we fell in love with, at an extremely competitive cost. All thoughts of signing with the other ID flew out the window and we chose to go with Mr. Designer Studio. We’ve all heard of the horror stories of Interior Design firms disappearing with cash, renovation delays, under-delivering on what was promised, shoddy workmanship, and the list goes on. Before my husband and I went house hunting, Mr Designer Studio was already on our short-list. A year later when we secured a house, we went to them for a consultation. We were met with Jason and we have no regrets at all. From the start, Jason was clear and one with our plans and what we had in mind. The suggestions and advise he gave us were helpful with our benefit being priority. Suffice to say, we definitely got more than what we paid for, thanks to Jason. One additional thing that we cannot thank him enough for was that there were little to no delays on his end. Designer in charge: Lewis and Joe We engaged Lewis and joe from Mr Designer Studio to work on our 4-bedroom apartment in December 2021. Looking back, we have no regrets and are absolutely delighted to highly recommend him to friends and family. Hiring an ID is a leap of faith, as accidents can happen no matter how good contractors are. This was where Lewis and joe shined because he helped alleviate the anxiety of all of the possible bad outcomes that came with our heavy renovation - which included hacking of all floor tiles, overhaul of all electric, plumbing and lighting, extensive carpentry with elaborate feature wall and lighting features etc. Lewis and joe is highly responsive, meticulous and open to all of our feedback and suggestions. He is responsible and diligent in managing the project from start to finish. Bought a resale flat in Sembawang, engaged their services . I was thoroughly impressed by the attention to details and the meticulousness of Lennon . I am very glad that Celeste was the interior designer for my new house. As a new home owner, I was often enthusiastic about how I wanted the house to look and had ideas that looked nice on paper but were sometimes impractical.Celeste was patient in listening, and explaining what she thinks works and what doesn’t. Instead of shutting out ideas, she proposed alternatives which sometimes were even better than my original ones which also fit the Budget (this is important) This also showed the amount experience that she has in this aspect, and the ability to balance form and function. During the renovation process, he managed the contractors well and rectified any issues that surfaced very swiftly. Since the design stage, Lea have shown great competency and willingness to adapt to the changes we requested. From the selection of materials to implementation, Lewis demonstrated professionalism in advising and foresee any hurdles during the renovation process. It was an amazing experience with Lewis throughout the entire planning and renovation journey. Being this is the first house we have, we were lost and needed much advice on the whole planning and guidance. Lewis taught us on practicality and is transparent with his advice too. This is what we really love and enjoyed working with him. Lewis will consistently do house checks and make sure the reno works are all in place and done properly. My husband can vouch for that as he will always see lewis when he went up to check on the house. We felt so assured with him around. Oh, and I also need to really praise on the after service! Lewis is very prompt when we told him about minor defects. He will ensure it is replaced and done properly too. I think this is very important and assuring fit house owners. We felt at ease! The whole workmanship for the furnitures are done well! Our house is even praised by friends who came to visit! We have already recommended to a few friends and hope they will also enjoy their experience with Mr Designer Studio as much as we do!
