Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Responsive. Understood our concept and penned them into workable designs within budget. Friendly. He ensure that his quote is as comprehensive as possible to prevent unnecessary variation orders.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

Do not overcomplicate our concept as it will be challenging for our IDs to merge these ideas into designs. Work within budget. Have buffers for variances as they are bound to be no matter how comprehensive we try to be.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Yes. We would recommend Sam as someone who has sound knowledge and background on renovation. We are not into designed theme homes, so discussing our ideal home ideas with Sam was a breeze and he sticks to the budget. He even advised us on the colours of the floor tiles and carpentry. We will also discuss with Sam on adding more works to the renovation, and he will advise us if the extra costs would benefit us in the long run or otherwise.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

We would advise future homeowners to have a budget within their means. Having a lavish home which is not within our budget would not only leave a huge hole in your pocket but cause you "heartaches" in settling the monthly instalments.  For young couples, be practical in your designs as your family will grow and high chance of you living in the house for a very long time (in view of the high housing price).  Do not dwell on designing a house, but dwell on making a home.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Yes, I would strongly recommend Dave because he is professional and ensures quality works are carried out by his contractors. He communications very well with his co-workers as well as customers. He also follows up closely on scheduled tasks ensuring timeline is met. Dave often offers his professional opinions and discuss objectively with his customers resulting a satisfying outcome. Pricing wise was also reasonable too.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

When selecting ID for your home renovation, try to select at least 3 to 5 base on good reviews from Social Media like Homerenoguru, etc. Shotlist 2 to 3 ID companies and have face to face meetings with them. Always prepare yourself with a floorplan and a list of your specific requirements. Set the list with "must have" and "nice to have" items for renovation. Set a realistic budget and also a stretch budget base on affordability. Do not go for the cheapest quotation but balance overall pricing with quality service and material used. Request to view existing projects, if possible, to get a better idea with the real feel of design and quality finishing to be convinced that you have found the right ID.

Yes. I will definitely recommend Rachel from ID Gallery. She has previously done up my parents flat and has always help us with any follow ups readily. For our flat, she has given us good advice based on our needs and is accomodating to our changes. I am happy with the carpentry quality too.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

Engaging a reliable ID is crucial. As we will always be communicating with ID, it really helps if he/she responds to your queries fast. Of course, their experience counts as in the renovation process, which is to be done at which stage mattars alot.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

We chose ID Gallery - Sam because we clicked with him and he understood the theme we wanted ( Modern Scandi concept). Sam was very responsive and never failed to reply any of our queries no matter how late at night we texted him. Although there were some minor issues during the renovation, but I must say that I am pleased with how Sam handled the process. Overall, Sam has been professional, advising us on colour schemes, giving practical suggestions to improve the functionality of our home yet retaining the concept that we want. Thank you for building our home Sam!

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

There were some delays in terms of the timeline given but I guess Sam did the best he could taking into consideration the different contractors/parties involved in the renovation. Sam is very responsive to all our queries and we usually get our questions answered immediately. He is very passionate about his work and he doesn't settle for shoddy workmanship which is a thumbs up!

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Mr Sam Toh never fails to give his opinion and ideas for all the things that we wanted to do. All pros and con were explain carefully. Most importantly, he listens and made the house according to the theme that we wanted.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

My advise to future homeowners are: 1) Don't rush on things, I mean everything. 2) Choose the ID that can give all you want but of course according to your budget as well.

Sam is really helpful and always serves with a smile. He is contactable all the times and tried his very best to give his fullest. Seeing that he represents ID Gallery, I felt that their customer service is top notch. My designer also gives valuable feedback and ideas which made new couple like us feel satisfied with our house. He truly made my house a home.

I would like to advise new homeowners to never rush. Please take your time to find a suitable designer, the one who always put your contract first and give you confidence of doing a good job. Time is really of the essence.
