Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Lyn’s professionalism impress my husband and me. She not only design to what we want and also think further to what we may need in future and gives her professional advice. She not only design, she also took a lot of effort to explain the material, colour and recommend unique lightings which enhance the overall look. She is meticulous which can be seen when we go through the renovation handover. Even though, we make some changes to almost the end of the renovation, Lyn is very patient and accommodate what she thinks is suitable. She is also eager to share home tips and gives great advices on other things as well. As ours is an EC with little renovation needed, this did not deter Lyn’s professionalism to bring out the best in what she do. Thanks to her, she give us a beautiful and warm home which we so happily come back to.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

It is important to find a designer who can understand your wants, your needs and be able to incorporate that into the space constraint, especially in our case, since it is an EC. The designer should be able to create the feel and look as well as consider the storage you may require in future however it should not just be a cluster of storage and cramp up the home. To me, what is important is the overall feel of your home which should make one always happy to go back to.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Bought a maisonatte a year ago and as usual, hunting for an ID until I met my friend whom recommend Icon Interior Design. Max, who is the co-founder, is very helpful and has good resources. Although the unit needed an extreme makeover, he's able to keep within our budget yet does not compromise the quality of work. Best part is he was able to deliver on time despite year end and festive season (Xmas, New Year, & Chinese New Year), which help us alot as our previous house was due.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

They can be a bit pushy and stubborn in the proposal. As a designer myself whom I can totally understand as they have pride in their work. Just need to come to an agreement which does not compromise your needs and concept.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

We went with icon interior for our light-colored scandi themed house. We spent a total of $45K for the renovation of our 4-room BTO, which includes laying of new tiles for the living room, overlaying of bathroom floor tiles and a portion of the bathroom wall tiles, laying of evorich vinyl for the bedrooms, as well as carpentry of master bedroom wardrobe, master toilet cabinet, kitchen and study room cabinets/table.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

In our opinion, price is pretty reasonable and most importantly, the workmanship of the contractors is excellent. Our ID (Ewen) is also very prompt in replying our queries, though we would have liked if she had more time to visit the site to provide updates of the renovation progress.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

I heard about Icon Interior from social media and other platforms while I was reading company profiles and reviews from other clients. I signed up the renovation package during CNY 2017 promotion when I came across a reno forum During the CNY promo, they offered free gifts and absorbed GST too! I know what concept I wanted for my house. And there are a lot of stuffs that I am really unsure of. I engaged Icon Interior and my ID Medz, was very helpful throughout house renovation process. He is very patient and listened to all my concerns and issues attentively. Medz came well-planned, coordinated very meticulous to avoid any miscommunications. Medz gave me valuable advice from his past experiences to improve my ideas and at the same time he gave me freedom to choose what I wanted and especially my budget, which I proposed to him. That is very important though. He guided me and assisted me throughout the renovation process. What I can see that Medz is very passionate and committed towards his job. There were a lot of questions in my mind and he responded to my enquiries quickly. He updated me every day without fail through phone, whats app and photos which really impressed me. He assisted me in handling issues e.g defects, and contractors schedule for installation. Throughout the entire process, he knows all his connections very well and he was able to liaised with them nicely despite his busy schedule. The process of selection the tiles and vinyl flooring were the most difficult part of renovation. There were so many things to choose from! I’m a very detailed and OCD person. What I wanted is a perfect renovation and of coz there were definitely some bumps here and there too. Medz arranged a lot of touch ups for me when I am unhappy about the painting. My working experience with him was excellent and his sense of responsibility. Once again, thank you very much to Medz for doing the such a phenomal job. Well done, Icon!

1. Ensure that your ID easily can response any enquiries by time to time 2.Inform your ID the budget 3.Read reviews and company profile before engage them. 4.Be there to check your house.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

We simply adore how our house turn out. Shout out to our ID, Med. We appreciate his prompt reply thru whatsapp whenever we encounter hiccups during the reno work. Very much grateful with the prompt service in arranging contractors and electrician to come over and rectify the issues. As for added service, we love our wall feature and bedroom cabinet. I personally love how the glass window kitchen turns out, giving the illusion of big space

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

We chose a minimalist concept so as to give an illusion of big space. We were happy with the design concept and was pleased that Icon manage to finish the renovation by Hari Raya festive. Our ID was responsive when there were problems and help to rectify the issues by calling the relevant people.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

We would like to thank Winnie, Chef Designer, for her wonderful design and fabulous work. She has helped to design, inspire and enhance our living space. She oversees the remodel of the place and does an amazing job in co-ordinating the whole renovation work. She has totally transformed it. Every day, we wake up pleased with the result of our home.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

Compare renovation prices and select the ID that you feel that is most receptive to your ideas and come to a compromise with the design and price. It will be easier to work with someone that takes your feedback into consideration. Ultimately, it is your home. Good luck!

Yes I definitely will recommend my ID Winnie Leow of Icon Interior. She's very meticulous and hardworking. Her after sales service is excellent. She's very dedicated to her role and spends a great deal of time in assisting with colours for my unit. I have a very beautiful L-Shaped wardrobe, hand made of porcelain as recommended by my ID.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

My renovation works workmanship is good. The timeline is very crucial and my ID, Winnie Leow of Icon Interior was able to handover my unit within a month.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Max has a deep knowledge about interior designing and thus able to provide sound guidance on how and what should the renovations progress. In addition, he is very Creative and in touch with the latest designs in the industry. Apart from that , his partner Li Xuan has strong follow up skills and conscientious. We are glad to have them to design our house !

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

I would suggest owners to have a mind of what they would like their home to be. Apart from that , they need to work around their Budget to make sure that the expenses are well kept within with as apart from renovation, they would also need to factor in the furnishing and appliances costs for the house to be "visitor ready" :)

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Here is my utmost honest review regarding my ID, Shafee. We went to Icon Fair in Nov 15 and sign up for the premium BTO package with him as soon as he listed out the package and price to us. We went to see him again after we collected our key. We started our renovation in Apr 17. Shafee is very dedicated to his work. He make sure to list out all the pro and con to us in every decision that we make based on his experiences and most importantly, what us best for our house. He is always smiling whenever we met him up. He gave good advice and suggestions on every little detail in the house but never ever hard sell anything for his own benefit. We get many discounted items through his recommended supplier too. He also make sure that we bought our item for the house of good quality with warranty. I love the carpentry work so much especially the tv console that is design by him. Thank you Shafee for building our cosy dream house.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

Always know what you want and tell your ID your budget for the house. Make sure the company have HDB licensed. If in doubt, please ask your ID any question.
