Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Alex is awesome. Full stop. She completely transformed our loft in a way that we had never considered - it seemed like we were "trapped" into a specific room configuration just by the logistics but yet her magical brain and team broke through it. It was an amazing - and so pleasant! experience. We would unreservedly recommend Alex and her team to anyone looking for creative, colorful, and unconventional interpretations of space with standard. We quite literally have people asking for him every time they come into our home. Thanks Alex and their team!

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

Always compare what the interior designer has quoted you with the market rate. Of course, there’ll be places offering you cheaper prices. However, it comes with being diligent in doing your research beforehand, which is time consuming.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

This designer whom is also the boss has very poor follow up, just interested in collecting money. Never stick to reno schedule. This ID is the typical contractor whom give you a very competitive quote, those items which need to change will add and add. Example, change of 10pcs of floor tiles cost $480 which the boss say he spent a few hours driving around finding the right tiles and his petrol and time also need money. I know he drive a very big and flashy Jaguar. But he will not park nearby to let you know he drive a Jaguar. If you go choose tiles at Hafary balestier, he will park at the hdb carpark way behind it. The ultimate error which this ID firm make is the kitchen door entrance of tint 650mm wide which is totally wrong of our 900mm entrance which we wanted. This guy never go check the unit after completion. In addition, when I feedback on the ID keep asking to fulfil 90% payment and mention that I will check with CASE, this ID boss owner of Home Choice still dare to tell me that inform or check with CASE also no use because CASE cannot do anything to contractors and ID firm. Lastly, very irresponsible and very bad follow up ID firm. DO NOT use their services. My renovation still not done since Nov 2016.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

Do not use those ID which give you a cheaper quote because they will cut your throat along the way. Do not believe those positive and good ratings on Home Choice ID from the internet because it it not accurate. Maybe is the ID boss input those online good remarks himself. Haha.. I learnt my lesson the hard way. It seems that there is no control of quality on the ID and contractors in Singapore which even CASE also cannot do anything to them, as per what Home Choice company owner educate me. Do be very wary and cautious towards ID, designer and contractors.
