Overall we are quite satisfied with the meticulous planning by our designer -Shirley. We were overwhelmed with many aspects of renovation since this is our first home. She is extremely key person and parts an integral part in ensuring our house is properly renovated. Her follow up was impeccable. She has spent more of her time to guide her through the process and provided many great tips on how to achieve ideal design for modern home. We did numerous changes along the way, however, I would rate her first class. She is extremely patience dealing with a demanding customer like me. We have many ideas since we did a bit of research on our own on Contractors. Not that we do not trust her as we are not sure what’s the market rate. Shirley is very passion with her job and honest. She will provides you several options. She will not proceed until you gave her the green light. She even go extra mile in getting the best deals. We walk several store and also spending time each day to select the tiles, Color, custom made items we want despite our extremely hectic schedule. I am glad she has helped us to make the renovation smooth. We would like to thanks Shirley and the firm for being flexible and accommodating during the entire process. She really good at planning and ensures the Contractors follow their paces to Ensure proper work I placed to Ensure the money we spent worth it. She has accumulated wealth of experience during the times with G Plan. Despite there were challenges along the way, she took the criticism constructively and even spend time to come to our place to check to ensure everything goes well as planned. Finally, Shirley has been very committed and responsive to calls and messages. She also work when she was sicked for few days and also make effort to keep us posted. What advice would you give to future homeowners?

Look for a designer that can put in her/him time and schedule plan and put together good proposal. Not only factor in cost. But most importantly that person spend time to supervise and provide good guidance

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

I had a very tight schedule to be able to move in within 2.5 weeks after commencement of project. Shirley kept to the schedule strictly and ensured that the various parties kept to the timeline. Indeed, I was able to move in even though the renovation was still in progress but with live-in condition. Thanks Shirley. She was also quite patient in allowing me to choose floor tiles from different suppliers and suggested some good ideas when viewing the house. She followed up on her sub-contractors' progress well. Her contractors listened to her and if need be, will turn up even within a very short time. Amazing!

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

Look for honest id firms such as G'plan. As a reno project involves too many details and subcontractors, dealing with an honest and reasonable firm helped.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Designer is very creative and resourceful. She has endless of suggestions and will tune to our style and taste giving us the best blend of design. Her recommendation on materials to use is trustworthy as quality is above expectation. The carpentry works is one of my favourite. She is also very dedicated never fail to follow up on the progress of renovation. Her extra miles and extended services is not what you can find easily. I highly recommend her.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

Get the right ID and your renovation is half done . The material and capentry work is one important area. Wrong match of material gives you a different effect on the overall concept and design.

Yes. Terence Tan is very nice and friendly. He always listens to what the owner have in mind first before proposing his ideas and concepts. He is also very responsive when you contact him. Do research and communicate to the Interior Designer you engage about the ideas, concepts and color scheme you are looking for so that the designer would understand the overall picture and he can propose and give you a nice and beautiful apartment you can bask in.

Yes. Terence is friendly and has been very patient throughout the whole process. He was not pushy and was prompt to our enquiry.Overall, a very pleasant experience.

Plan according to your Budget. Look around for a few quotes before committing to any renovation company. Seek advise from friends on their past experience.

Shirley from G'Plan Design is very honest and patient. Plus she is very good at project management to deliver renovation in time. We are already in a very rush schedule, and halfway we added in additional requirements. Shirley still managed to crash and parallel run tasks to catch up the schedule, so we can move in just before CNY. Great work!

At first Shirley from G'plan Design may not be the lowest quote you will get out of all options, but with her openness and efficient project execution, you will not regret your choice later.

Yes. Shirley was a really integral part of getting our home done up nicely. As this is our first home, we were rather overwhelmed with the various aspects of renovating our place. Shirley was able to guide us through the process and provided useful tips for us on how to achieve our ideal home design without having to burn a deep hole in our pockets. She went the extra mile in getting us the best deals, and to accommodate our busy schedules when we had to meet. Thankful for having her help to make the renovation process so smooth and fuss-free.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

I think it's important to set aside sufficient time for the overall renovation. Avoid 'peak periods' like the weeks leading up to Chinese New Year, so that there is sufficient time and resources allocated for your project. We are thankful that Shirley was able to help us manage the renovation timeline so that our renovation was completed according to schedule. She really knows how to put the contractors through their paces and ensure the quality of the workmanship for our place so we get the best bang for our buck! Last but not least, Shirley is generally responsive to calls and messages. (However, we were conscious to avoid contacting her at odd hours!)

Terence is a highly responsive and responsible interior designer who takes the time to understand our requirements before providing his suggestions and advise. He and his contractors has delivered our renovations promptly and the worksmanship is always very commendable. He truly take pride in his work, and is someone who will always do his best! We have received positive responses on our place, all thanks to Terence. We would highly recommend Terence to all our friends!

It is important to do your research, have an idea/ concept/ color scheme in mind. That way, your designer will be able to put together your preferences and piece together an apartment you can bask in.

G'Plan provided us with an affordable quotation to renovate our home. They were very accommodative to our request and ensured the designs we wanted was suitable for our preferred home concept. Our designer, Melvin Kiew, is someone whom we worked along very well throughout the whole renovation process. He ensured the works was done properly and up to our expectations. It was easy to communicate with him as he understood our requirements.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

We find that communicating with the designer/contractor is a major factor to ensure the works done are up to expectations and our request are met. Do track your renovation works to ensure that it is done within the stipulated timeline provided by your designer/contractor.

My second time using Kenny from Gplan for our house renovation. Great and prompt communication. Always willing to put in the extra effort to accomodate our request and timeline. Great experience!

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

Good to plan ahead, start meeting ID for advise once you have the floor plan. Prepare photos and share your brainstormed ideas. Remember to inform in advance if there's a tight timeline .

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Definitely. The ID is super friendly and professional. We changed our minds for a number of items a few times, however he is always positive and helpful, never tried to push our requests away. On the other hand, he did push back a few requests that he sees as uneccessary and waste of money, this happened BEFORE we made commitment to GPlan. The final house look exactly like the 3D rendering. We are very satisfied.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

Be very careful picking your designer. I have heard stories from my friends and colleagues. Some designers say yes to everything before the project starts, however once projects started they are different persons.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Terence took the stress out of our renovation, he kept on schedule and delivered our 1st home ahead of schedule with everything done up in great condition. He worked his magic below budget and also gave great advice in picking out the furniture. We have already recommended to a friend who has recently completed his home project with Terence. We highly recommend Terence & G Plan.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

Do your homework before meeting your designer, it takes away a lot of stress on your first meeting. Be realistic on your budget and pick an ID who understands your wants and needs. Too many pushy ID folks out there trying to sell you their design.

I really like about our Renovation ID Melvin is he listen. He wanted to know what we really wants to happen. Its like our idea plus his idea. He knows what he is doing and the right people to do the project. I might say we are an annoying clients that we had a lot of questions, suggestions and revisions even in the middle of the construction but he is happily to served each of it and he is not afraid to correct us if he thinks the outcome doesn't turns out nice. He is easily to reach out tru calls or messages regardless the time of the day. Constantly posting us pictures via FB messenger. The biggest part of liking him is the BUDGET WISE without compromising the outcomes. More Power Melvin Kiew of G'Plan Design!!!???

I highly recommended Melvin Kiew of G'Plan Design, he is an experienced and dedicated! You can rely on him without worrying. You can search him on Facebook like I did.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Terence is very nice and friendly. We totally trusted him with the design and color selection, and the results came out very satisfying. He was very attentive to our texts and helped us search for the right curtain and sofa. He also got things done very quickly and helped us settle with small details (e.g. doorbell, picture frame).

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

When we were searching for IDs, we found several companies that gave comparable quotations. We chose G'Plan because Terence gave the first best impression. I would advise homeowners to choose an ID you are comfortable with. We are not designers and we didn't have any experience getting our home renovated, we wanted someone who is not pushy but helpful. We felt we could trust his sense of style and we liked the way he conversed with us.

ID Jessica is very helpful in answering our questions of the renovation matters, and she is willing to meet us at any time event is her non working hour. we are happy to her services.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

bassically we only renovate our MBR and Kitchen, overall quality is just meet our expectation baseline. not because of the ID, mainly is the contractor skill not good enough, i would recommend future homeowner must state very clearly in the contract what you need. especially the materials like kitchen drawers base plate or the wardrobe.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Definitely. It will be great lost to my friends if he is not recommended. Mr Melvin of G'Plan took great enthusiasm, hard work, very good responses, very proactive. At times i am not around to make decisions and he took them even beyond my expectations. He put lot of efforts not only quotaion period but also during and after works. Its difficukt to find a contractor with such enthusiasm. I whole-hearedly trusted him. Thank You Melvin

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

When we approach renovation contractors, our first step is usualy the value add works and the cheapest quote. The responses during works, after service works, quality:l and finishing the works as scheduled are the other very important factors to consider. And Mr Melvin did not dissapoint me on that.

Yes we will. We are satisfied with the renovation. He coordinate the job well and whenever there was any request, he was quick to address. Throughout the renovation, he will keep updating us the progress by sending picture through WhatsApp. We were glad that we choose Melvin as our ID and would definitely recommend him to our friends for his service.

He shows great patience to our numerous request, this is an excellent personality that we appreciated. He always try his best to match the style we prefers without bursting our budget.
