Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Yes both my wife and i were very happy as we had gotten our new flat. The most headache problem was which ID to choose from. And we had heard storys of irresponsible ID, runing away with the money, job done half way then disappeared. Then we had come to Forefront and we get to know Joey and Partrick although they were young ID but they had lots of ideal and concepts. But first of all, we had given me a feeling that they can be trusted and get the job done. My wife and i were busy working we dun have much time to see what had they done. They will provide us all the updates and schedule of jobs and even sent pictures to us of what are the things they had done and completed. After completing the renovation they hand ed over the keys to house. At times there were still have some defect. They will try their best to get it done asap. Not like those will say ok and wait for weeks but never get it done . A thumbs up for team Forefront.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

The timelime of our renovation took us 3 month as we were not rushing to move into our new house. And the quality of the workmanship like carpentry, electrical and marble laying is good cos they are able to take the job done fast and good.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Yes. Rex is very nice and patient. And he also respond to questions very fast. No matter what kind of request or problem, he always tried to provide a solution. Since we were in a hurry to move in, Rex helped to control the timing to make sure we can move in on time.

Choose a reliable ID can save time and money.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Joey Pear is an experienced interior designer who is able to understand our requirement and budget. This was our second home renovation with him and he has once again affirmed that our decision to engage him yet another time was right. We love his simple and practical carpentry design. Workmanship is meticulously executed and of good quality. The team at Forefront Interior kept us updated of the whole renovation process via Whatsapp. The post-renovation service is also commendable. Concerns and rectification issues were addressed spontaneously. The entire renovation process with Joey at Forefront Interior was stress-free and pleasant. We look forward to working with Joey again for our next property :)

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

Be forthcoming with your interior designer. Maintain a harmonious relationship with the ID and the team. Express your realistic expectations from the start. Feedback your concerns amicably when carrying out checks during the renovation process. Allow the renovation team time to work on your concerns or issues that arose. The trust in your ID and his team can help to make the renovation process.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Joey was really open to discussions and ensure we keep to the budget that I set. He was also always prompt to reply questions even on Sumdays. Joey also showed a 3D design of his vision before I signed the contract with him so it gives me an opportunity to ensure that he is aligned to my ideas.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

To do a lot of research so that you know what you like and be able to be specific in your request to your ID.

INTERIOR DESIGNER IS VERY PROFESSIONAL. HE WILL PROVIDE HIS INPUTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS WITH REGARDS TO THE DESIGN PHASE. DURING THE RENOVATION PERIOD, HE WILL GIVE TIMELY UPDATES ON THE PROGRESS OF THE RENOVATION WHICH GAVE ME ASSURANCE THAT THE RENOVATION IS ON TRACK.

LIVE WITHIN YOUR MEANS AND DO WHAT IS IMPORTANT. TO WORK WITH YOUR INTERIOR DESIGNER CLOSELY. INTERIOR DESIGNER TO PROVIDE A TIMELINE ON THE PROGRESS OF THE RENOVATION WORKS

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Yes. I would definitely recommend Joey. Joey has been very meticulous and attentive to our request. We also like his minimalist design which he has design our home tailored to our lifestyle. His designs are modern and functional at the same time. The quality of the materials which he selected is also good. He also has a team that is very responsive and efficient. They will update us on the progress on a timely basis. This is very helpful to us as during the renovation, there are bound to be hiccups and issues are rectified promptly.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

Have a open communication with your ID. Open communication will help your ID to meet your needs and demands for your dream home. Be open to ideas which your ID may offer as they may provide you with alternative views which you may not think of.

Rex was very punctual for meetings and always went the extra mile. He made sure to continually update us about the status of the renovation, taking into account our wants but yet giving us practical advice. Highly recommended!

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

Rex was always responsive and made sure we were continually updated. Renovation was also completed in a timely manner. Rex would always double check the workmanship before we visit the house which gave us confidence in his quality control. Would hire Red again for our next house!

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Yes we would recommend Forefront Interior. Prior to meeting Joey, we had met a few other interior designers. While each designer offer good ideas to what we were looking for, they feel pretty generic and tend to push their designs to us instead. Joey not only listened to what concept we were looking for, he was not afraid to point out areas where our ideas could improve the overall feel of the home. This reshaped our perspective of the renovation and after a couple more meeting to go through every detail of the plan after we decided to engage Forefront Interior. Joey and his operation team were easily contactable and prompt in updating us on the status of the renovation and the reason for any delays. On site meetings were not a hassle and overall completion as according to schedule. In the end, although we might have pushed our budget slightly above what we would have paid if we engaged another interior designer, we believe the quality of service and workmanship that Joey and his team provided made it worthwhile.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

Having an idea of what you want your home to look like is always a challenge, especially if you are a first time homeowner. Source around for as many interior designers as you can and do not be in a rush to make a decision. Also, choose a designer that you are happy with who will design an appropriate plan based on your input. It takes two hands to clap, so be open to their suggestions too if they differ from your plans as the perfect balance between aesthetics and practicality makes a world of difference. Take note of the overall timeline and responsiveness to any changes during the renovation and be firm with keeping the schedule as delays may end in unnecessary frustration. Lastly, enjoy the process as it goes along. Building your dream home is an experience, not a chore!

She was really helpful throughout the whole process, with the constant checks on the renovation process, and also going to lighting shops, plumbing shops to help select suitable items and giving opinions. Even when we are hunting for furniture ourselves, we would take photos and send it to her, and her response was always quick. The after service was good as well, when we have minor problems after the renovation is done, there would never be a time that she's not available. Overall, her service was really good.

have a brief idea on what you would like your future home to be before meeting an ID, or have a few pictures/photos ready to discuss with the ID, from there make it into something unique to your family.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

He was able to understand our concept right from the beginning and continued to impress us with his ideas. He is accommodating, helpful, responsible and fast in attending to any problems, concerns or queries that we have. Even when we were away for two weeks, he ensured works at our house are going well. Generally, we did not have to keep coming to check on the house often. Communication with him is easy and we could ask him for opinions on our house furnishing and he'll give us his inputs on it. Even when we had some concerns, he was patient in hearing us out and giving us solutions to the problems up until today. Dedicated and passionate designer who takes ownership of his work well. Definitely recommend him!

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

Visit as many IDs as possible, compare quotes and get ideas. While price may be a big factor, it is also important to have the right designer who is able to execute the concept of your dream home and a designer you are comfortable with and have a good chemistry with. Look at their past projects and if needed any showflats / projects to ensure their workmanship is good as you may have a good designer but the vendors used is not as per standard. Set the expectations right with your designer to the little details from the beginning.

Yes, definitely. Excellent follow up and follow through to the end. Keeps me updated on the progress or any issues along the way. Approachable and Flexible, excellent service. Great sense of resposibility, I have told him I am in no hurry to move in but he managed to complete everything ahead of schedule, without compromising on quality and details!

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

Home ownership is an important milestone for many people,and home renovation process is typically a long-drawn and sometimes frustrating process as well. Therefore it is definitely helpful to find a trusty designer to work with, one who understands and tries to deliver and attempts to exceed your expectations. She is friendly and accommodating. Has good ideas and willing to listen to what we propose. She is still easily contactable for any touch up that is needed even after the job is completed.

Source around for ideas and materials, not all IDs are good at design. Most just take what you want/propose and draw up the plans without much design input. Select the designer you are most comfortable working with as this is most important when the project starts. Keep up to date with the progress and do site visits to ensure things go as planned or designed.

Yes of course! My house was designed by the young and capable boss of the firm, Joey Pear. Don't be fooled by his age and perceived lack of experience. He has been in the business for close to a decade! He opened my eyes to the world of interior design not only with his flair for design but also the technical knowledge behind it. Joey is not a typical "Yes Man" that accedes to all customer's requests. He dares to tell you if your idea does not suit the overall concept or "feel" of the house. Most importantly, he designs a house according to its habitant's lifestyle.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

Do your homework and have a general concept or theme in mind prior to meeting an ID. This sets the direction for them to work towards designing your dream home. But be open to ideas too! Allow the IDs to do their wonders instead of making them reproduce your design. Getting a contractor would be more suitable for this scenario. Most importantly, It defeats the purpose if a design impedes practicality. Unique designs can be functional too!
