Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Never. This will be my first and last time working with them. Main contractor service is horrendous and a bad nightmare. Price is atrocious, and don’t expect a “designer firm” drawings or any advise from them. Coordination with subcontractors will have to base completely by yourself and it’s always a last minute arrangement. His attitude is bad and designer will push responsibility to the main contractor, there is no system and communication in this company. They will not turn up to inspect the renovation work during the interim period or after completion. Their best follow up is after completion, expect non stop calls and voice messages for you to pay up! I would strongly recommend this company to strike off from homerenoguru list. If to describe one word of this company, it will be “pathetic”. However to be fair, their subcontractors (tilers , plumber, carpenter, electrician) workmanship and attitude is reasonably good. Don’t be mislead with the designer concept and workmanship for a given 10, credit does not go to the company at all . Concept is supported and coordinated fully by myself and quality as mentioned subcontractors are professional.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

Choose a reputable company with high reviews and ask many questions on first date to see if they have the patient and service you professionally or merely just patronizing you. Best if upon payment, get everything in black and white including work time table and schedule of entire renovation works. You can tell from their body language and intuition, follow what heart tells you about this company.
