Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Aloysius is a patient guy that will always listen to our feedback. He's so passionate enough also to share with us his idea and experience which helps us a lot during the renovation process. Besides he's very helpful that helps us to co-ordinate the whole reno process with all the parties as he knew that we were quite busy with our works. He is approachable in which makes us feel so comfortable to work with him comfortably all the time. We will strongly recommend Aloysius if you need a reliable interior designer to work along during the reno process without worrying too much in checking the progress from time to time as he will always make sure to deliver his promise on time without further reminder. He's also the creative designer that can provide you the best design within a reasonable budget. Kudos to you, Aloysius Ong!

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

Always plan ahead on your budget to understand better the relevant cost to be catered enough for your renovation. Build some buffer and maintain a very transparent communication with your interior designer in order to have a better and clear communication during the reno proccess to avoid any unnecessary additional cost to be incurred for the renovation.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

A definite yes to all who are sourcing for an ID. We are first time owners hence we didn't have much knowledge in the cost that would incur us. About 5 months prior to receiving our keys we started looking around different ID firms. For our 5 room BTO, we were quoted as high as 52k ??‍♀️! Well to be honest we did request for lots of carpentry work. We wanted to hacked away our service yard and make good a full length cabinet on one side of the kitchen and an almost full length on the other side of the kitchen, feature wall for living room and master bedroom, vanity tops with storeage compartments for both toilets, wardrobes , head board and bed frame for master room , Vineyl flooring for all 3 rooms, doors for all bedrooms, frosted glass door for master toilet, PD door for common toilet, tampered glass door for kitchen and partitioned Study room? . Most of the IDs did give us a good 3D drawing ( 3D drawings for living and master room only) and even reckoned other ideas which were pretty impressive too. However the amount that added to the Reno was something we were concerned about. As we were only a week away from collecting our keys, my Husband chanced upon Earth interior. We met up with Aloysius and told him what we wanted. He got back to us within a few days with our quote. I was shocked to see the amount difference in the quote he gave us as compared to all other IDs. As promised in our first meeting, there were no after sign of contract gimmick. Aloysius was honest and made sure all our requests were attended to. He was very patient with us ( thumbs up Aloysius ??????). At the end of the Reno he made sure that there were no defects and should there be any issue, he immediately send his men over to rectify the problem. We have no regreats in engaging Aloysius. I would highly recommend all home owners wanting to Reno their home to consider Earth Interior/ Aloysius.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

Whilst doing your Reno, you will need to buy lighting, electric appliances( water heater, air-con etc..), toilet accessories ,kitchen sink etc. Should you have a budget, plan them well while considering the cost of your Reno. Good Luck??

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Of course! Needless to say, good stuffs MUST share! Dave is patience, and he listens to our concern and prescribe solutions to suit our needs. As an ID, he did not insist on some arty fatty design concepts and shaft it down our throats unlike some of the ID we came across. He will try to accommodate to our request and yet still hold his own philosophy when comes to designing. Last but not least, he did not hardsell like some other ID did.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

Do not compare too much to confuse and tired yourself. If budget and requirements achieved, just do it!

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Earth ID initially came across to me as a simple and down-to-earth concept designer. I was thinking, such concepts suit me well and with the many good reviews, I decided to request for a quotation from them. Dave Sim, Creative Manager of Earth ID was assigned to me and I must say, during my first meeting with him, I was instantly impressed by his drawings despite it was only in sketched form. Their quotes were pretty competitive to those that I’d sourced around but I’d decided on Earth ID because I was more impressed with Dave’s design and I had faith in him and see him potentially realizing our dream home into reality or make it even better! It turned out to be a great and pleasant experience working with Dave. We had many discussions and some of our meetings even ended late at night as he tried to accommodate to our schedule. He has always been extremely patient and accommodating. We like that he shares his honest opinions and would give us suggestions on what are the relevant and appropriate functionality on certain layout or materials use etc. He would explain to us on how the colour theme and design can go well or why not. When we had last minute additional work or modifications to be done, he would advise on the feasibility and endeavor to fulfil it if possible without compromising on the look and feel. During the entire renovation process, he would update us on timeline and what would be needed to meet those timeline. Whenever we spotted any defects or pointed out any works not accordance to plan, he would quickly address them and get it rectified immediately. What was highly commendable was his strong dedication and responsibility. We were almost towards the end of our reno when Dave was stricken with emergency admission to the hospital. Despite his critical condition. he still couldn’t let go of his responsibilities and was trying his best to co-ordinate all the necessary for us at the hospital bed. Although his team mates volunteered to assist him in whatever way they could, he was compelled to do it by himself. Even before he went into operation, he was constantly checking on the final status of the reno-work. Although he wasn’t able to be at the site, he would ensure that things still moved accordingly. Working with his team of contractors were a breeze too. They were as nice as Dave. Easy to work with and very accommodative to our little requests. Dave deserves to be applauded. Despite his heavy project assignments on hand and with his medical condition, he was able to hang on till the end just for one simple reason…not wanting to disappoint his clients but delivering his best. This attribute is extremely remarkable. We are thankful and blessed to have Dave as our ID. Indeed, he has lifted up his assurance that we will not be disappointed. Well, we didn’t. We love our new home and can’t wait to invite our relatives and friends over. Thank you Dave, for your excellent job done! You are awesome! I’m sure Earth ID is blessed to have you in the team. Through this, I could see a marvelous teamwork among you guys and that’s amazing and heartwarming. I’m sure many clients will get to benefit like me, of having you as their ID for their home reno! What advice would you give to future homeowners?

My advice to future home owners, make sure you are comfortable with the ID whom you have chosen to work with. Do not be too quick or compelled to jump into engaging an ID firm who tend to promise you with free gifts and bundled offers (they usually come with a price). Do take time to source for more quotations and from there you can more or less understand and gain better knowledge on various materials use and the design concepts. Do ask to visit some of their completed projects, if possible. This is so that you can see the real workmanship and not those from their showrooms or pictures only. Do discuss and work closely with your ID and raise any concerns that you may have. A good & dedicated ID will provide you with valuable advice to your house reno which sometimes we thought we know best. Of course, if you have certain ideas in mind, bring it up. You may be surprised with the joint effort, it may sparkle something better out of it. Ensure that your ID provides you with a timeline so that you'll know at what stage your project is progressing. A responsible ID will follow up closely and update you of the project status. If there's any doubt on your reno work, do clarify with your ID. It's important to have open discussion with your ID. Misunderstandings will arise due to lack of open discussion and very often, it gets into the blaming mode easily. Hiccups during house reno is common and most times, unavoidable. Do ensure to address them with your ID. A responsible and dedicated ID will be prompt to take actions to get them rectified. Well, house Reno may not necessarily be a tiring and painful process. Do enjoy every stages and soon, you'll enjoy a lovely home that you find it so sweet that you'll just be so motivated and look forward to be home.

Engaged Aloysious to do up the design of my desired design, from his experience in the industry, he is able to provide us with a excellent design that we desired. Very patient and take his job very seriously.

Earth interior provides top quality services as well as their workmanship. Designers will update the progress of the work along the way to ensure the quality of the work is up to standard. Highly recommended to future home owners!

The designer was a very friendly guy and he will make u feel very comfortable to speak anything u wish and also help u out with whatever designs u have in mind and also add on with his own creative designs. He is also very patient with me as i keep changing with the ideas and he was always there to listen and also work with what i wanted and needed.
