As first-time homeowners with no prior renovation experience, finding the right ID can be super daunting especially with all the horror ID stories floating around and The last thing you want is to have an unpleasant renovation experience for your first house. We first spoke to Sandy in June (the 2nd ID we spoke to!) and we were really impressed with her presentation. She was meticulous and detailed. During the presentation, she focused a lot on space planning (going down to the specific measurement/ what to look out for during furniture shopping/ what is feasible/ what is not worth doing just for aesthetic). It really left a deep impression as compared to the other ID firms we spoke to. For reference, we spoke to a total of 9 IDs. We were initially skeptical as we can’t really find reviews online. However, we decided to trust our instinct and go with Sandy! And for that.. Its was the BEST decision we made! We were able to trust the entire renovation process in Sandy’s good hands! She would give prompt updates on the renovation milestones. She was super responsive throughout the entire process as well. She is always patient in answering all our enquiries! Not keeding, she always reply us within minutes! We are really pleased with the overall result and workmanship (ie. Tiling/ Painter/ Carpentry/ Electrical/ Plumber). During the handover, we only had a couple minor rectification (that speaks a lot)! All they need was patience and understanding from new homeowners so they can produce excellent results. In conclusion, we really had a super awesome experience with Sandy from De Style Interior Design and would highly recommend her to anyone! Thanks for helping us achieve our dream home, Sandy! Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Valen and Stanely were fast and efficient in their replies. ID was also very prompt and professional. ideas were good and creative as well. We enjoyed working with De Style!

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

less is more! Keep it simple :) get furniture measurements early so your ID can work promptly. good to have a theme before renovation starts. and PINTEREST helps too!

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

From the start of our renovation till the end, Stanley was always providing us with an excellent customer experience. Not only did he spend hours listening to what we needed, he also suggested ways to improve the design and structure of our home based on our needs. Stanley even continued to provide support when we were choosing the furnishings in our place. Stanley was also very prompt in solving any issues that arose along the way. Most importantly, he had great design ideas! We are certainly very pleased with the overall outcome.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

I think it is important that the couple find an interior designer that they are comfortable with instead of just looking at budget alone to ensure that the renovation process with be a smooth one!

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Yes, besides bringing our ideas to life, Ashton provided very practical ideas to make the home user friendly as well. Also provided good ideas on Colour scheme and other furnishings.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

Apart from some tightening of some loose screws, which Ashton rectified quickly, would say quality is very good. Interestingly, even their sub Contractors in charge of wood works was friendly and helped to rectify some minor faults in the condo like applying silicone to the sink even though it was not their duty.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

I was glad to have met a designer who was in line with our ideas yet to provide cost savvy tips based on his experiences in this field. Strongly recommended!

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

Its always difficult in choosing a suitable interior design firm that meets owner's standard and expectations without bursting our budget. I am glad that I have handed my 4room BTO flat into the good hands of De Style Interior. The standard of workmanship and efficiency was superb especially the carpentry works as we made a few spacial requests (Swivel TV, 3D full length TV Console, side bench.. etc.) Moreover the designer was detail and constantly updating us the work progress done, making us looking forward to every meet up at our new rest.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

I just want to recommended Chia Wei if you're looking for Interior Designer with these following qualities: * competent in handling the problem quickly. * able to execute and deliver under tight schedule. * no hard selling or over promised. * low cost and no hidden cost. * good material and workmanship.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

I think it's good to let the ID know your budget and see whether he's comfortable to work around the budget by giving him / her the specified or detailed ideas on how you want your dream home to be. Communication and chemistry are important too. It's alright if the ID said that he'll check with the carpenter for the accurate answer, rather than he promised everything up to the sky and ended everything can't be done.
