Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Wen yi is helpful and responsible, always there to help us supervise the contractors when me and wife are away at work. All we need to do is review the work weekly as our own discretion over the week end and nothing to worry about.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

Entire renovation completed less than 1.5mths at godlike speed and any post handover service required, Wenyi is there for us. Just whatapz her, she’ll make the arrangements. Perfect value for money.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Our ID, Wenyi, is very responsive and hardworking. She has made tremendous efforts in liaising with multiple contractors to make sure that the house was done up within stipulated timelines. Wenyi was very patient despite multiple changes in the design i suggested. She managed to keep track to all details of my requests and followed up nicely. The contractors she engaged were very helpful and with great workmanships, especially the tiler, carpenter and electrician. My family loved the build-in wardrobes and cabines done up. So far, 1 month into staying at the new house. We still feel the price we paid for all the reno was very value for money. :) Another great work by Artis, thumbs up! ^_^

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

Be clear of what you want, propose the designs/layout where possible (cabinet layout) and seek your ID's advice (on whether it works). Nobody knows better than yourself about what will work best to meet your needs. ^_^ Lastly, enjoy the journey of building your dream house!

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Lynn is a very accommodating, hardworking, sincere and helpful ID. She listens attentively to what we wanted and planned the space and layout accordingly. In fact, out of the few IDs that we went to on the same day, Lynn was the fastest to get back to us with a proposed design. And when she heard that we wanted a kitchen island that stood on its own and not attached to a wall or top unit, she adjusted her initial proposed design and gave us what we wanted, unlike the other IDs who insisted that it could not be done. Communication with her is also easy as we communicated a lot via WhatsApp. She helped us with most arrangements like gas pipe installation with Citygas and also for the window grilles permit and installation. We didn't even have to be there. She has been very helpful to the point that when one of the drivers for our LED light was faulty, she went to the shop and got it exchanged for us. She is also very detailed and made sure we are able to visualise what she has planned. Apart from the 3D drawings, she came to the house and even pasted markings on the floor to show us the extent of our cabinet, island and built-in wardrobe to ensure that we are ok with the size. She made this renovation journey very smooth for us and made our dream home a reality.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

Even though our flat was a 3-Gen unit, we only wanted to do up our kitchen, living room and master bedroom 1 + washroom. At that point of time, many companies didn't offer a package for 3-Gen units. Artis didn't have one too, but it was the only company that was able to offer us something that's suited to our budget based on the amount of work needed to be done. Most importantly, Lynn designed to what we wanted and made it work. She gets things done efficiently and fast. She is able to work in the timespan that we gave her (less than 2 months from key collection date) and doesn't compromise on quality. Find an ID who works with you in making what you want come true and not one who pushes their design to you because at the end of the day, you're the one who is going to live in the house and see the design day in, day out. Overall, it's really value for money, what Lynn and her company provided for us.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Lynn, our designer is a fast worker, flexible & accommodating. We shared our ideas and she translated them onto papers and made our dreams come true! We are very satisfied with these two ideas that we wanted (1) frosted glass door for toilet (instead of bi-fold door) (2) glass panel wall separating kitchen and living area.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

We have quite a number of designs and plans that we want for our new place. However we have a budget to follow, between $20K-$24K. The basic 1kitchen + 2 bathroom package was $19 888. That caught our attention. We managed to add two design that we really want & cost finalise to about $22K. Perfect for us. We learn that it would be good to prioritise which are wants and which are needs and work within budget .

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

We are very surprised at Lynn speed of work & her design really deliver up to our expectations. From the time that we collected our new 4-room BTO flat key, we had only go to our non-renovated unit once, till the whole renovation process completely, then we went over to do cleaning to be prepared for moving in. Throughout the whole renovation process, we only liaise with each other by WhatsApp on the placement of the Sockets, Air-conditioning, Bathroom Accessories & also whole units Paint selection. Lynn Tee is absolutely hardworking, diligence and sincere with her jobs. Non calculated and genuinely helpful. We had purchased our own Air-conditioning, Citygas Dryer and Water Heater, Custom-made Window Vertical Blinds, by right when the people come down for installation, we the owners should be the one to stand by. But Lynn had helped us make arrangement (we WhatsApp our invoices to her) & stand by on the day of the delivery & installation, on my behalf, for every of our purchase that required installation! Because of Lynn; she had made our renovation journey a fabulous easy, stress free & wonderful experience. We had so much time packing up our old house stuff getting ready to move into our beautifully design and cozy new home. What advice would you give to future homeowners?

Both me and my spouse have came upon Artis Interior P/L, whilst looking for a reliable Interior Company. On this day, we had noticed almost 90% of the Interior Company in IMM are having in-house promotion like sign up for certain package will received free gift like System 3 Air-conditioning or whatever. We personally don't believe in free gift as we believed if a Company is good, they don't need to prompt free gift to attract Customers. Then, we saw Artis Interior with no promotion, & no GST, no video played in showroom to showcase their design, & is Case-Trust Approved. Then, we were attended by Lynn Tee. She was just plain simple (with no makeup nor dress to kill) & sincere. She listened attentively to our concept expectation & budget, then she showed us via her mobile, some Pictures of her personally completed projects that will suits our concept. From here, our journey begins, we had signed up with Lynn as our Interior Designer. After a short 3 days from our sign up date, we received a call from her that we able to meet up to discuss further of our renovation; like selection of the cabinet's materials & colour, her planned renovation work scheduled & our 3D drawings, which we allowed to make a amendment max 3x.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Took efforts to understand our design preferences and priorities, gave guidance as appropriate for practical matters, responsive to complaints and requests for changes. Pleasant to work with. Not aggressive in marketing unnecessary design features. Both practical and visually appealing. Understated design, lots of storage, efficient lighting/fan location, user-friendly bathroom, colour scheme, easy to clean

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

- Look at homes, interiors and pictures to get idea of range of design possibilities.

- Predetermine budget, including buffer of 10%.

- Remember to consider cost of fittings, furnishings, appliances in overall financial planning.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

I am very happy with the Artis work and services rendered by Lynn. They are very efficient and friendly. They also did renovation for my grand daughter's flat. I will definitely recommend them to any one.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

I would definitely advice them to choose a reliable and efficient company to do the renovation. I was lucky to engage Artis Essential as they did efficient work in a professional manner.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Yes, I will Artis Interior to my friends, according to contract value, I'm quite satisfied that it completed on time and love the theme proposed by the designer; and also good communication of status update and co-ordination with the contractors.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

My advice to future homeowners, take note that it seems the HDB house ceiling height is 200mm less than old type, the distance between hood and hob better increase 200mm for better heat ventilation.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

I Like the wooden feature wall which cover one side of the living room wall. I have also requested for a mirror combination to gives a illusion of a bigger area. The laminate selected for the wall also matches the existing doors. The TV console also have a combination of marble top finishes which adds a very luxurious feel.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

It was just a co-incidence when we were looking for a design firm and stumble upon Artis Design where Joshua attended to us. He showed us the company's portfolio and we briefly discussed into the design choice and budget. The following meetings , Joshua came back with some sketches and ideas before he proceed with the 3D perspective where a few changes were made then. Joshua is a designer which also very attentive to client's ideas and suggestion. He is also quick to suggest alternatives ideas and materials usage. During the site installation , he is always on site to ensure construction and design is followed accordingly and on time. Overall experience was a pleasent one and we will not hesistate to recommend him to our friends.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

There are many areas I felt was well done. In particular, the TV feature wall and the opposing feature wall. The TV feature wall consists of 2 concealed doors which looks like an extension of the feature wall rather than conventional doors. The wall paper opposite the TV console was my idea - a montage of red wine glasses. Why red wine? Because fengshui dictated that this wall be red in colour. John of Artis Interior also incorporated my demands for the need to have 3 monitor gaming screens in my bedroom study table.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

The entire project took pretty long (5months) but the renovation was completed within budget and more importantly, my ideas were transformed to reality with John of Artis Interior. Overall, I think that the 3-room flat has been well renovated and it looks much larger.
