Yes! Me and my Wife was really happy with ian Chia. IAN was the reason why we chose Vigorous Design than the rest because of his honesty and sincerity that made us felt comfortable with him. During our discussion he does provide valuable feedback and suggestions on what he felt was necessary and what’s not as he also understand that we have a budget to work within. His Creative and ideas brings out everything in the house.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

my advice to home owners is other than choosing a gd ID firm, you still need a gd designer as well. After all, he is helping you to build your future nest. All in all, we are so delighted with our new dwelling and pleased to have Ian Chia as our ID

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Ian Chia is very receptive to our input of what we hope to achieve, in terms of looks and budget. His reccomendations on paint, cabinent colours and tiles help us to narrow down and achieve what we wanted. He gave useful advice on various matters that we did not know as first time home owners, example: how the water will splash and affect the cabinent when we change the position of the kitchen sink. I have reccomended him to family and friends and will continue to do so.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

Give yourself ample time for renovation and it will be more enjoyable instead of stressful. Discuss your furniture choices with your ID or if you can, share pictures. They can help to create a atmosphere.

Yes, accommodating on making changes to the design and arranging for follow up rectification work.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

Do not rush and plan to start sourcing at least 6 months before key collection. Try to ask around friends for their IDs or source for more IDs to do a comparison in terms of their price and workmanship. Better to write down all the requirements in the renovation contract before signing to protect your interest as IDs tend to work for a few projects concurrently and may have forgotten/overlook the promise made or details discussed earlier.

Yes, I will definitely recommend this ID as Ian was very committed and responsive throughout the entire process. He was able to grasp the idea that I had and produce a design that fits like a glove. From the beginning of being able to provide multiple options and possibilities for the design, to managing the works within a very tight timeline and getting the home done on the agreed date, Ian performed and delivered above expectations.

It helps to have a clear design direction and it makes decisions easier to make. Price and cost are important but the effects of low quality is much harder and expensive to rectify. Choose an ID whom you feel is trustworthy and is as interested as you in preparing your new home.
