William is responsible & he gives prompt response. He would give his professional advice & ideas. He would give his frank opinion when our suggestion are not feasible. He gave regular update on the progress. He even provides good after sales service.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

Set a reasonable & affordable budget for the renovation. Also need to keep some budget for add-ons but need to work within the means & do not burst the budget. For some items which is non critical that may be beyond budget, you can kiv first & do it later.

ID would set the timeline on the renovation. I would not try to rush them especially if its during festive seasons as quality of the workmanship is more important.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Yes, very responsive and guide me through the process. Vincent and his team of tradesmen interact with me and provide suggestions. The trades men adopt the best practice and follow the manufacturer recommendation. I would like to highlight the carpenter and tiler attitude, skill and knowledge when they carry out their work. Vincent never fail to reply my message or call which gave me a peace of mind throughout the renovation work.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

It is very important to choose the right partner that will ensure that the renovation work is on time and the quality of work is of the highest standard without compromising on quality. It is also important to partner a responsive ID that is able to achieve your aspiration.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Yes of course! He is very fast in his ideas and suggestions. He listened to our needs and wants then incorporate it with the designs that we have in mind. He came up with the idea of flushing the wall all the way from our bomb shelter to the shoe rack which we liked a lot and get praises for from all the guests that came over to our place. Our design were quite uniform throughout which is black and white but the rooms we requested for a different feel which till now we are very happy and satisfied about it. Very nice guy, soft spoken and will rectify each problem personally, immediately every time. No complains at all!

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

Take time to explore and request for quotations from various companies. Read through about each company profile and past reviews especially. Tell them your needs and wants but at the same time, accept what they have to suggest as they are the expert in this line. Do your own research regarding the materials, brands used and pricing. Pricing may be a factor while finding 1 ID but do take note that if you pay a bit more for better quality, it will help you a lot in the long run.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Yes, my ID delivered what she had promise us. We hope that we may move in before Chinese Lunar 7th month so we request her to complete all renovation in 4 weeks. She did it and the workmanship is so far so good. After we have moved in for 2 weeks, we have an issue with the curtain rod that didn't fix firm enough and call her, she arrange worker to fix it back immediately.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

For advise I will give: 1. Digital lock is very convenient, although costly but after install you no need to keep searching your house key. 2. A ventilation fan install in kitchen may reduce the heat when cooking. 3. A sink install in service yard is useful, may use to wash stoking, shoes and some hand wash clothes.

Nicky is very sincere and listens to what we want, even when we were very indecisive and made manly changes. She is always willing to adapt and make the necessary recommendation.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

We have met many designers from other firms, however their arrogance and attitude turn us away. We believed that the designer plays a big role in getting to what we want, if they are unapproachable, it is hard to work together.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

The Interior Designer after service was very good & responsive. She was very patient with us. When there is last minute changes in design, she tried her best to meet our expectation. Some of the workmanship is not that good. However all defects rectification was done to our expectation. It's really peace of mind as the project runs smoothly from the start till end of the project. She managed the project very well even though she had a few projects in hand run concurrently.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

My advice to future homeowners, do engage with established Interior Design Company with good project reference. You may want to engage directly with the respective specialist contractors in order to save cost but you must have the time to manage them and understand the sequence of works very well. The good thing I like about engaging Interior Design Company is if there is any problems during or after the installation, you only look for one person to.resolve the issue.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Renovation was done very efficiently with little delay. The ID handled the subcontracters well. This means I could move in earlier than expected. There was constant communication done by Jason to update me on the renovation progress and useful advice on what kind of furnishings to get and where to buy stuff even though it was not part of the contract. He even accompanied me on some these shopping trips. In general, I felt that the ID understood what I wanted for the reno and delivered accordingly.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

It would be helpful to the ID if you understand what you want for the renovation in terms of looks or aesthetics as well as the functional uses of the various spaces. It is advised to do some research on the kind of interior design look you want online before finding an ID. Create a mood board to show the ID. The ID will then be able to give a quotation more accurately. Make sure the ID inspetcs the space physically before giving the quotation so that the ID can accurately quote the cost as well. Cater for extra 20% budget for amendments to the original contract.

Nicky is a very meticulous and responsible interior designer. She is always prompt in her reply and she is always on site to supervisor every aspect of the renovation. Not only that, she never fail to keep us updated on the progress of our renovation, we can see and feel her passion and dedication she put in her work. She is always there to help and give solutions even after she handover the house to us.

Communication is very important with the ID. Let them know what you like and dislike and what are your concerns for the renovations. Always keep the communication open and be receptive to changes that happened along the way.
