Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Yes. Jess has been attentive and responsive to any queries promptly. She is able to explain clearly the design and provides professional suggestions. Jess also goes all out to come up with solutions to our storage requirements at the same time keeping a clean design. With "example pictures" of how we want my house to look like, Jess is able to come up with another design that hits and bull's eyes to what we want. During the renovation process, she will be on-site majority of the time to make sure everything is done properly and correctly. Lastly, Jess also provides wonderful after-sales service.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

- Plan ahead, be realistic & practical in your requirements. - Do note look only at lowest quote when looking for an ID. However, pick your ID/contractors based on the quality of the workmanship of their work and the chemistry between the both of you.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

My bestie recommended Orange Cube (OC) as her house was done up by OC, and she commented that the quality and after-sales service was pretty good. Nevertheless, I still got 5 other IDs to quote, before going to OC. Eventually, it was the flexibility and assertiveness displayed by Karen that made me decide to choose OC eventually. As my unit is a pretty small unit, I would need it to be more utilitiarian with loads of storage space, bright with birch undertones for the carpentries. My requirements were given to all the IDs I met, but most of them, except OC, were not too open with my concept, and try to infuse their own thoughts into my concept, without trying to explain to me on their proposals. Karen, on the other hand, was professional enough to accept my views, and explain to me why certain things can't be done. Her response time to my various queries were also fast, considering the many cases she has. Even after a year after the reno, she still manages to upkeep her professionalism by swifting redirecting my feedback on plumbing issues to her supplier, whom promptly rectified the issue thereafter. Though the overall costs for engaging OC may be higher than any IDs, but I guess, you pay for what you get. Kudos to OC !!!

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

As the ID industry is very competitive, IDs would try their best to make their quotations look "good" by including seemingly almost everything. But at the end of the day, it is the quality of their works that would really matter. Do check with your ID if it is possible to visit some units that they have done before, preferably with the owners already living in it. You can also find out how responsive they are to your queries or requests by shooting queries via whatsapp. IDs who bother to reply, meaningfully, and on time, would be worth the assessing if they can be the one for you.

Definitely. Eunice is able to conceptualize our requirements and bring them into ideas and reality . She is very honest and professional with her opinions. We met her at least 3 times before we signed up with Orange cube. During the reno process, we changed our minds about our house many times, but she is still very patient and professional through out. The quality of the carpentry works is exceptional. Will recommend it to all the new owners!

Compare different ID and find a reliable person you can work with. Know what you want, do lots of research and work within your budget. Quality is the key!

YES. CHI HO PROVIDES EXCELLENT SERVICE THROUGHOUT THE RENOVATION AND EVEN AFTER RENOVATION PERIOD. HE LISTENS AND IS ABLE TO EMPATHISE WITH MY BUDGETAND TIME CONSTRAINT. HE DOES NOT OVER PROMISE BUT DEFINITELY DELIVERED AHEAD OF THE DEADLINE. CHI HO WOULD ALWAYS AVAILS HIMSELF WHENEVER THERE IS A NEED FOR HIS ADVICE AND TO CLARIFY OUR DOUBTS. THE WORKMANSHIP IS BEYOND EXPECTION. WE ARE VERY HAPPY WITH THE OUTCOME.

BE RELEALISTIC IN EXPECTATION AND BUDGET. ALWAYS CONSULT YOUR DESIGNER WITH AN OPEN MIND.
