I had a good time working with Jeff from Swiss Interior. Amongst the interior designers I have asked around, Jeff had been the most responsive and objective. Throughout the design process, Jeff answers all queries and provides objective suggestions. He will provide the pros and cons of selecting various materials, design concepts and layout. This allows me to make decisions that are most suitable for me and my family. During the renovation process, Jeff provides frequent updates and promptly highlights to me when there are issues or changes to the design are required due to site constraints. He is always ready to provide suggestions and recommendations that are most suitable for my house. In addition, Jeff is also open to ideas and suggestions and will readily provide objective feedback on the ideas and suggestions. Jeff provides a holistic interior design service from design, material selection, renovation to completion. After completion, he is just as prompt when there are defects. During the renovation, Jeff also keeps a tight watch over the schedule and makes sure that the work is done without delay. This has allowed me to move into my new place just as planned! No delay! Being a designer, Jeff takes effort to understand my design preference and the outcome of the design is exactly what I want. It is important for any home owner to create a space that is truly suitable for ourselves and Jeff is able to meet that. I highly recommend Jeff is you are looking for an interior designer. I was worried when looking for an ID for my renovation cos I was ignored by IDs after knowing my unit is just one bedroom condominium. Luckily I found Choon Choon from swiss interior. She was friendly and it was comfortable talking to her. Soon after the first contact I engaged with her for my renov. She was responsive and thoughtful throughout the process. She was always accomodating my schedule from discussions to onsite visits. Although a small project, She took it seriously when helping me to design my house. She also provide me with many ideas and suggestions even on the furnitures. She was very patient with my tons of questions. If she was unsure she will try to find out. The renovation took about slightly more than a month and everything was on schedule. As I am always overseas, Choon Choon help me to monitor everything without me chasing her. The workmanship turns out to be satisfying. Some defects were in fact spotted by Choon Choon and she volunteers to do touch up or amendment for me as if it was her house. I was really happy with the outcome of my renovation and everything was beyond my expectation. Those who had came to the house all complimented on the design. If anyone wants to have a smooth nice renovation without much worries, i highly recommend Choon Choon.

We are a first time home owner with limited knowledge with regards to renovation. Like any other home owners, we enquired a few IDs, and ultimately it was an easy decision to have Jeff from Swiss Interior to be our Home Specializer. I'm a first time homeowner and was working overseas when the house TOP. After contacting several ID companies to compare prices and service, I chose Swiss Interior because the Project Manager Catherine was the most responsive and communicated well, making me feel most assured that she would be on top of things even though I was not in SG. When the project started, we had a very short timeline of about 3-4 weeks because I was returning to SG after my overseas work and I hoped to move into the house immediately. During this period, Catherine and Designer Dapheni called me every night to discuss the designs and also to make the changes after my feedback. Dapheni was able to rush out all my requests in a very short time, and the designs were as per what I requested. Dapheni understood my design vision and made good recommendations on all items including paint, colours, aesthetics etc. She was also helpful and patient, and made me feel very comfortable and assured during the whole project. The project was completed punctually and I moved in on the agreed date. Even after the unit is handed over to me, both Catherine and Dapheni continue to be responsible, following up with me on any small pending items etc. Highly recommend for both of them!

Among the 5 ID firms that responded through Qanvast, I found Clarice to be most eager and enthusiastic to work on our project. From the initial planning and preparation to the actual renovation and finish of the work, the entire experience was easy, smooth and thoroughly enjoyable. We worked with May for our 4-room HDB BTO flat's interior design and it was a positive experience. As it was our first time engaging an ID, May carefully guided us through the process and timeline. She would note down the dates that we needed to confirm certain aspects of the project, and when we needed to purchase our furniture/furnishing by. This was very helpful to us because we knew as long as we followed her timeline, the project will run on schedule. Her designs are modern and practical that met our needs. She threw in some complimentary works for us which we appreciated a lot. When certain works were left out by contractors, she was willing to rework on the invoice that we are grateful for. May also put in additional time to help us meet with the BSC contractor and receive deliveries at our flat when we were unable to be present. May was quick to engage her contractors and suppliers to make fixes where necessary, and saw through it. She sent us photos and videos to make sure we were satisfied. This lessened a lot of our worries. As most of the time we did not know what can or cannot be done, we would share our concerns with May and we knew she would help us with the solution. As we were only available on weekends, May was very accommodating to meet us on weekends. She is also very responsive to our text messages even during the evenings. May is reliable, responsible, professional, creative and trustworthy. We will recommend May to anyone who is looking to work with Swiss Interior.

Had the pleasure to work with Jeff for our new BTO reno :) Jeff is very experienced and responsible. He provided honest and practical suggestions for our ideas. He taught us things to consider as it was our first time renovating, and provided advice on furniture choices to better suit our theme. We really didn’t regret choosing Jeff as my ID and really grateful for the thing that he has done. Jeff is the second ID that took over my renovation somewhere near halfway of the renovation as we are having some issues with the first ID of the same company as the toilet tiling is kind of not aligned. We hope to get the renovation complete before CNY. Despite taking over halfway and the tight deadline, Jeff took the initiative to get the information with the previous ID and double confirm the information that he got from the previous ID with us. Jeff follows up very closely on the renovation process via phone calls and goes on site to monitor the process. He will take video to explain thoroughly if he foresee any issues that might happen or issues that happen and suggest us with solutions and backup plan if the first plan fails. He never fails to update us on the renovation process. Although in between, we encountered numerous issues from the very start of the renovation from first ID to Jeff, Jeff would definitely try his very best to resolve for us. Jeff is a really responsible, pro-active and helpful ID and we would highly recommend him and thanks him for the excellent service he provided.

Jeff is a professional designer who was able to advise us design ideas that met our needs and budget. He understood what we wanted as a family with young kid. Jeff is able to explain design concepts in layman terms which was great for us (design idiots). We had our mum’s HomeSweetHome handed over to us on mid October 2022. We are extremely happy and glad that we decided to go ahead entrusting Jeff Lau and his dedicated team from Swiss Interior Design to take overall charge of our renovation works. Let’s get started from the quotation. We had done our detailed price comparison with few other ID company and finally decided to go ahead with Swiss Interior Design. The quote offered to us was very competitive and for the amount of works that we had requested for it was very reasonable. Jeff was such a patient person who was able to accommodate to all our request and get things done in a timely manner. There were ample of phone calls which we had made to Jeff daily to enquiry on stuffs and he was always eager and ready to assist. We were always stuck with choosing colors and Material. With Jeff beside us it always helped and moving on with his idea turned out to be the prefect choice. As they say there is no such a thing as 100% prefect however Jeff was always on his toes to quickly work on hiccups or problems which came up along the way to get it fixed and work towards the 100% perfection mark. Our final product of our home was like an exact screen shot of our 3D drawing which left us speechless. Even after handing over of our home , Jeff after sales service is awesome. 2022 updates We met Desmond Kho 6 years ago when he did our first home. Everyone who came to our house gave really good reviews. He is very professional and caters to all our needs. Benjamin Lee was my ID and I chose Swiss Interior out of 10+ firms bcos of the transparency and easy to understand presentation. Showroom office at Sims avenue is well furnished and conducive for discussions. Benjamin is patient enough to modify our Quotations so we can work within our budget. Swiss interior also had enough manpower so the project is able to finish up before deadline despite the COVID environment in 2020. We were searching for compatible Interior Designers from Qanvast and they matched us with Swiss Interior and our tag ID, Benjamin . (Fun Fact, they are the first and only ID we met and we felt comfortable with them instantly ) Benjamin were able to get the idea of what we were going for even though our explanation wasn't clear enough. He even pitched in some ideas which we used for our renovation. He is professional and knowledgeable with his work even up to date. He kept checking if everything was ok. Our renovation took awhile due to the pandemic, but with a proper time-line given by Benjamin, we were able to estimate the TOP date. I have decided to go for Swiss Interior for my 4 room HDB resale overhaul. Benjamin Lee was the 6th ID I have met and after the first meeting, he was one of my top 3 choices. I was very clear that I did not want only a sales ID but also someone who has eyes for design and details. Eventually, he surpassed others and I chose him as my top choice. The renovation process took a little longer than expected due to materials shortage. But Ben tried to do whatever he could so that nothing was delayed further when the real work start. During the renovation process, he was detailed and patient. While I was busy at work, he took care the renovation and kept me updated via WhatsApp or phone call. We highly recommend Melvin Yick from Swiss Interior. He managed to complete our house reno within the given time frame (in fact earlier than expected). We would like to thank Melvin for bringing us through the design process, selection of materials and tiles, to managing the project timeline to what was agreed upon and the final handover of the completed work to us. Although there are some minor problems during the reno, he managed to rectify them fast and gave us good advice. Recently we had some issues with our house wall. Even after 2 months from the handover date, he would still come to our place to check out the issue and propose what can be done. Really good after sales service from him. ID: Sherwin Sim Period: 5-6 weeks I was matched with Swiss Interiors in my search for IDs from Home Reno Guru, I was quite happy as I've seen many of their previous work and I liked what I saw. Sherwin Sim was the ID assigned, and from the first meeting with him I was very impressed with the way he managed the meeting, listening to my ideas and what I envisioned for the space as well as making good recommendations. After reviewing with a few other IDs, I decided to proceed with him as the designs he proposed and well as the price point was comfortable and most importantly he was willing to complete within the tight time frame I had. I'm a project manager myself, and I must say I was very impressed with the way Sherwin managed the entire reno project. He provided me with daily updates (including photos), was very willing to patiently listen and answer my numerous questions/clarification, gave me suggestions on the go and at times helped me to purchase the items needed with my input. Even minor setbacks were managed in a timely manner. I think when you hire an ID, a few important qualities you look out for are design quality, communication, time and budget management and timely delivery and must say he excelled in all aspects and the entire process of going through the reno was must easier than I expected. He handed over the house with a very minor delay and I was able to accommodate that. Overall I am very impressed with his professionalism and creativity and will highly recommend him as an ID. Sherwin Sim was our assigned ID and upon our first meeting, we were pretty impressed that he was the only one who could make most of our desired house design come true. About 1 week later after comparing with other IDs, we chose him for his straightforwardness, transparency (on the quotation costs and additional orders costs whenever requested on our side for some design alterations in later stages of renovation) and most importantly, his trendy interior design! Trust us, you will awe at his steady drawing skills - they aren’t some rough sketches but clean, precise lines of drawings to better demonstrate his shared ideas with us. This was what made him stand out among other IDs we have been to previously. During the renovation, there was indeed some hiccups however they were resolved as quickly as possible with some delays due to coronavirus situation. We also handled other minor stuff on our own too. But the best part was when Sherwin stepped in to assist us with the ceiling light choices and introduced us to a nice lightings establishment, and man, no regrets ordering from that shop! I had an excellent experience with Clarice. I am an owner of a 5-room resale HDB and due to its old condition I need to do almost 100% renovation, and Clarice helpfully guides me step by step through my renovation experience. For my home design, I wanted an industrial style and I noticed that Swiss Interior has some portfolio with such design, this is one of the reasons for my choice, and the second main reason is Clarice's cheerful and friendly attitude. She highlights that the proposed cost will be different from the final cost from the beginning, especially when I want better and more durable quality for my renovation. Clarice helped to find the right furniture and design to create an industrial theme home and gave good suggestions on the kind of shelves and built-in wardrobes that suit the live style of my husband and me (especially when we requested built-in shelves for our action figures collection). We, fortunately, had our renovation at the end of the circuit breaker period, so the renovation was faster than predicted. We began in mid-March and the renovation ended at the end of May. Even after we move in, Clarice helpfully assist us with furniture touch-ups. Overall, we are satisfied with our ID, she really helped us design our dream home.

We met 5 IDs during our search. Candice from Swiss Int was the only diligent ID who took notes, worked closely with the points we sent to all IDs via WhatsApp. Though IDs could not give us a drawing, Candice could at least sketch what she had in mind on a piece of paper. After we selected Swiss Int, Candice was very meticulous and remembered all the points we talked about during the 1st meeting. Most importantly, she knows we are price conscious and worked closely with that principle. She would advise us against spending unnecessary money and proposed various cost effective solutions. Thus, throughout the design process, she will check in with us if we r ok to spend on certain items. In the end, we spent more money but felt we got more than what we expected. My wife and I are not the artsy people so we aren't good with expressing what we want. But she always seems to know what we want before we know what we want. Candice also has a capable assistant Jacy whom we can see support her with taking notes or reminding her of certain details. When renovation began, Candice managed her contractors like a pro. We can see she handles her contractors well and they respect her. It was a plus point because the renovation was in the midst of CNY and Covid, so there were some disruptions to the scheduled work. But we felt that the contractors gave her face and were always willing to make last minute changes or work Sundays to rush the work. Her assistant Jacy will also update us with pictures whenever a stage is completed. Swiss Int has a band of quality contractors and their works are of very high quality. As each phase of the renovation is complete, we hardly find any flaw. There were just a few minor things which Candice and Jacy responded very quickly with the contractors. In the end, we were very satisfied and happy with our home. We were glad we chose Swiss Interior and Candice/Jacy were assigned to us. It was a happy experience from beginning till the end (almost 5 months) and we will gladly recommend Candice and Swiss Int to any of our friends. They made the entire renovation journey very enjoyable n easy for us.

We chose Swiss Interior partly due to word of mouth and another being able to observe the workmanship on our relative's house. After receiving good inputs from them, we decided to approach this ID. Alex, who responded to most of our queries was keen to address our concerns with regards to our planned renovation. After choosing to go with Swiss Interior, we were then informed that Ray would be facilitating our renovation. At first we were quite concerned as we did not speak to Ray initially before choosing to go with this ID but in the end, Ray was pleasant in handling our project. Here’s a review of my ID Kerbe Started looking for reno company from Home reno guru in Nov 2020, only getting my keys in March 2021 Was given 3 reno company contacts, Kerbe was 1 of them and the only one who paid enough attention to details and what I wanted, the other 2, 1 cant be bothered to follow up from another well known company, the other had 2 ladies talking to me but didn’t help me visualise what I wanted and gave me layout plans that don’t make sense. Kerbe followed up with me all the way from the start till the day I collected my keys, was a blessing to have Kerbe as I had to move in by May if not my family and I would have to find another place to stay. Am very happy with the end result, there were minor reno hiccups along the journey but with proper communication and expectations, Kerbe was able to deliver as promised. Will recommend Kerbe and Swiss interior for anyone who needs to have their dream home done.

We actually have gone to 2 different ID for quotation but when we spoke to Kerbe on the phone, we got good vibes from him. He also fol up with us promptly upon receiving of 4rm resale flat floor plan. He is generous with his ideas but not pushy which we appreciate. Swiss interior did a very good job for our renovation. Our ID was Kent, he has put a lot of effort in preparing the design, organizing meeting and visit to multiple shops for the house. He was always available throughout the renovation. We did a full renovation of a resale condominium, the price was correct and we didn't have much surprise when it comes to changes. Of course, nothing is perfect, there were some delay especially for the carpentery work but this is mainly due to all the covid 19 restrictions imposed during this phase. The workmanship is also good especially the tiling works and carpentery using the top of the range such as Blum ... We definitely love our kitchen and bathrooms the most. I had just completed my renovation and Kent is my ID. I selected a few coys during my initial search for ID and Swiss is one of the firms that reverted promply to me on initial quotation and proposal. As this is my first experience in renovation, I was pretty uncertain on what suits my dream house and Kent patiently guided me at the various decision points. I appreciated the efforts of kent in responding to my numerous clarifications throughout the renovation period. We met with 5 different IDs at the initial stage and Catherine impressed us the most. She is extremely experienced and knowledgeable: her first quote for us was highly detailed and she could tell us off the top of her head how much this and that would cost, what would work/look good, etc so that we were able to adjust our requirements to our budget. She listened to our ideas and suggested alternatives when she thought necessary. Throughout the inevitable small delays and hiccups in our reno, Catherine displayed a very accommodating, positive, can-do attitude: every time there was a problem that cropped up, Catherine informed us about it immediately, together with her suggested solution. She is very experienced and knowledgeable. She could provide us with good practical advice, at the same time, a patient listener who is opened to our ideas. She would alert us to potential issues/challenges that our ideas may create and offer feasible alternatives as substitutes. Catherine is very responsive to our questions/requests, always ready to assist us with prompt responses even during late night, weekends and public holiday. She is also very hands-on with the renovation work, very often, we could see her doing a lot of dirty work like taking down curtains, cleaning up after contractors, sweeping away debris, washing kitchen sink, etc). This shows the amount dedication and passion she possesses in her work. Catherine is also very organized. Swiss Interior had done a good job for our new home, kudos to our designer, Kent, for his endless effort. When we first comparing the quotations among several equal-scale interior design firms, we were attracted by Kent's design proposal and competitive quotation and hence decided to go for it. Regardless of our endless questions, changes of design ideas and even minor details such as skirting colour, handle sizes and numerous revision of drawings, Kent patiently addressed all our comments and provide his professional advices to us. During the construction period, Kent and his team helped us to solve any of the unexpected incidents (which is fair and definitely unavoidable due to Covid-19) soonest possible to avoid delay of handover and at the same time ensured the quality of the works. The workmanship of the carpentry works and tiling works are done very nicely, and Kent always helped us to check every single details of the works to ensure it was done correctly. Our renovation story started before we even got our house keys and we have been looking at Pinterest for the design we like: a contemporary dark but open design similar to a hotel vibe. Our requirements left a lot of IDs ponder whether they can do it within our budget, of course we are relentless. After 7 ID meetups, we are glad we met Kent at a Qanvast event, me and my lady have listed all our requirements (which includes minimal hacking, a double level kitchen cabinet with continuous wood pattern laminate, smart home neutral wiring, concealed projector screen, dark grey wall tiles with contrasting wooden pattern floor toilet tiles, seamless concealed switches within pocket door pantry cupboard, water inlet for water dispenser, kitchen cabinetry with smart LED lighting which has in-built dishwasher, oven and wine chiller. ) We are pretty OCD, be it tiles or laminate selection, trying to make everything look “flushed” or “symmetrical” as possible. Kent is very good and precise in measuring (key for being a good ID), he’s able to advise what is the right height or dimension for each of the furniture sizes to look for, e.g. electrical appliances, false ceiling lighting point, toilet accessories, carpentry. Designing a kitchen cabinetry with him is one of the most impressive, he suggested to us to have BLUM hinges for entire kitchen, a double layered drawer with utensils and pots/pans storage; for Pantry, a Hafele pocket door with Kompacplus top+ Backsplash and two layer black BLUM I4 drawer for alcohol / snacks storage. Besides that, he advised us to have tilted angled tiles instead of a “drop” at toilet. He’s very commendable for having patience to sit with us on a few occasion to advise us the cabinetry design for kitchen or electrical wiring design and that is when he starts to wear the hat of a sales person but appreciated for not hard selling. Of course, every renovation projects is unique and not 100% perfect, every project will always has its own unique challenges or problems, this is especially true during COVID-19 manpower shortage and demand in the renovation industry surged and we understand that. Therefore please expect some little delay for any reno projects(even other IDs). Important thing is that he’s able to complete the project and rectify all the problems that we’ve encountered such as tiles chipped or water leakage at wall or water blockage, he listens and help us ask the contractors to rectify the problems without delay. And knowing him, he handles multiple projects, I must praise his work as he spends time to listens to our feedback on design concerns and really advises us based on his experience on costing / rules set by HDB / technicality rather than play by ear. Hiring him is our best choice ever as we do not need to deal with any contractors, he arranges the work swiftly and rest assured it can be completed on time.

I went to survey around, with about 10 IDs before I decided to go with Alex Koh and I haven't regretted it ever since. There were a lot of things that I wanted to do but with my budget, other IDs just simply subtracted items from the list. However, Alex managed to work around it by helping to brainstorm alternative design ideas and advise on certain things I can get on my own to achieve my budget and look. Cost-wise, he was very trustworthy and transparent on the prices and add-ons beforehand so there is no worry at all about sudden hike up in the final bill. During the renovation, Alex was always available when I needed to contact him for feedback or queries so I have no worries lingering at all. Even after months of renovation, I can always count on Alex if there are some things that needs to be looked at again. Highly recommended!

Spend a couple of weeks in searching online for an appropriate ID and pricing/package to renovate and overhaul my kitchen. Managed to list out few IDs to visit and RFQ. Visited Swiss Interior showroom at Bukit Merah and met Mr. James Ooi, even though it was late in the evening but he was willing let us in and hear me out. Knowing that it was a small project in our first meeting, but he was very professional throughout the conversation in term on listening and proposing solution within my budget, new concepts and products/materials sample. It was an astounding experience, and I realized that “I found the right ID”. I was busy with work back then and my kitchen wasn’t ready for renovation as we were busy in preparing year end activities and family meeting. A month later, I decided to revisit Swiss Interior and James was kind of forgot about my previous inquiries, but his professionalism, friendly and positive attitude remains! NO second ID, NO second Quote! That’s it! I decided to engage SI and let them handle my kitchen! We are very grateful that SI managed to deliver on time despite all the challenges, shortage of manpower and all the problems were rectified in timely manners which put my mind in ease. James managed to maximize the space, integrate and improve the overall kitchen design of what I had in mind and the best part I like the most was the “KOMPACPLUS” countertop. MASTERPIECE! Carpentry workmanship, services and the most important aspect, the PRICING is very reasonable! These days it's hard to look for an experienced and promising ID who would deliver and complete the project at the time you agreed on. My husband and I engaged Swiss Interior for the renovation of our 5-room BTO flat, as they provided the best designs with reasonable pricing among the IDs we contacted. This was our best decision as the result turned out superb! Desmond managed our project, and throughout the renovation he was very helpful and was willing to advise even for areas outside of the renovation (eg. maintenance, cleaning, purchase of curtains -any questions we had, we would ask him and he would answer). Where possible, he would also help us to get better quality materials for things like our counter tops and aircon, and did not charge us extra for these "upgrades". Though COVID-19 made the renovation process longer due to safety restrictions and reduced number of workers, Desmond still tried his best and we were able to move in in time. We went to Swiss interior after looking at many online reviews and requested for Ronnie. When we met, Ronnie introduced me to Hosen and we discussed about various ideas and they showed my wife and I some innovative ideas on how to save space. We have been to about 8 to 9 ID firms and found out that they were easy to discuss with. We signed with them, and has no regrets since. Both of them clicked well with us and are receptive of our ideas. They listened to our concepts, and then proposed good design ideas, and with no forcing at all. They gave us room to think and if we were not keen on their ideas, they were not forceful and instead, patiently re-proposed fresh ideas. They also are always ready to meet, and respond to our text queries even at nights. Their deep design knowledge is portrayed in the discussions, and that gave us confidence in the execution of the renovation. For the end result, they exceeded our expectations, and the finishing was good. Hosen really put his experience in the industry during our project execution. And please don’t worry about any rectification works if there are any, because Hosen will definitely make sure that the rectification works are completed correctly.

We did a 2 year research before we finally settled down with Swiss Interior to renovate our resale flat. They have an experienced team who understands materials and products well. They were not forcing us to buy a package. They really listened to what their customer needs. Their pricing was reasonable with good quality materials. Mr. Desmond from Swiss Interior was our ID. When we met him the first time and shared our requirements, he understood them very well and took time to give us lot of suggestions / options and good ideas to finalise every item. He gave us a very comprehensive quotation with break up of each item along with measurements and within the budget we had mentioned to him. When the works were in progress, he gave us regular updates and was always available to discuss some minor changes/ additions. He was helpful to give us contacts of shops / companies to purchase various items and also came with us and offered good suggestions when we had to decide some key items. When we wanted to do some modifications to some furniture after they were almost installed, he did not make an issue and did his best to do whatever changes that were reasonably possible. The work was completed within the time he had initially told us inspite of lot of uncertainties / disruptions during the Covid period. During this journey we felt Desmond was more like one our family member and more than us, he was interested to handover the house in time and in perfect condition. He attended to all the minor works promptly without having to do any follow ups / send reminders. Clarice was extremely responsive throughout the whole renovation, and generally took no more than 2 hours to reply even during weekends / after work hours. She was able to provide helpful suggestions and recommendations during the design and renovation process, and took into account our requirements very well. The renovation was also pretty fast, and of good quality. Even after handover was completed and the last payment made, Clarice still remained responsive and swiftly arranged for staff to finish touching-up any defects that remained.

When we began the initial planning and negotiation processes, Jeff was very willing to accommodate our work schedule. He gave sound and honest advice to our requests, and provided economical alternatives without compromising on quality. Through the renovation phase, he was very responsive and quick to update us on the ongoing progress. Updates were always accompanied by photos or videos. He also put in the extra effort to coordinate with external suppliers whom we had contracted for other items. ID: Jeff Lau See handover photo below 1. Fast response & reliable Jeff is very easy to talk to and is an approchable guy. After meeting 12 IDs all over singapore, I choose his service. His reply is always super fast (within 5-10 mins) even when my house had technical problems during the renovation. You will feel comfortable when you meet him, he feels like a friend. I have experienced other renovation project managers before and they take hours or days to reply a simple message. When problems happen during the renovation, he wont shrink back after you make the payment, he will make sure he resolves the problem for you. This shows that he is sincere and genuine. Also, he save me from my own mistakes by giving me advice on color selections. Intially I wanted to have various colors for different parts of my house, but thanks to Jeff advice. He advise me to stick to 1-2 colors only to bring out the classy theme I want for the house. Sometimes, as home owners, you might overlook some blind spots and its best to have an ID who can help save you from your own mistakes. He also made a trip down with me to Blum to help me with the technical aspects and went the extra mile to get sample supply from my own supplier even though its not his supplier. So he is definitely a reliable Project Manager! 2. Highly skilled Electricians who resolve my LED Mirror Problem Very impressed with his electricians engineering/technical skills! I forgot to tell Jeff that my toilet tiles need to run electrical wiring for my LED mirror. After the toilet tiles were done, then I recall this. So "technically by right", my LED half moon mirror is "not supposed to light up" as there is no electrical wiring done in my tiles. However, his team of electricians think of smart ways to “engineer” my LED mirror to light it up even though there is no electrical wiring done in my tiles. This is absolutely impressive!! Big thanks to Jeff and his team of electricians! Unlike some other contractos/ID, they will just heck care and cannot be bothered since money has been received. So I’m very pleased and impressed by Jeff and his team that they are reliable, responsible and bother to think of creative ways to solve technical problems!

We would highly recommend Maybelle to home owners looking to renovate their flat. Maybelle has been meticulous, patient and welcomes questions throughout the entirety of the renovation. We also found it important that she would always listen and explore our ideas first before providing her suggestions. With any renovation works, minor issues cropped up along the way and Maybelle was swift to provide a solution whether the mistake was ours or hers. I started speaking to several IDs on my current resale HDB flat before I came across Swiss Interior. I was attended to by Jeff Lau. Honestly I do not have a very clear idea of how I wanted my home to be. Seems like I like everything that I saw online without a clear concept plan. As I briefly explained my thoughts to Jeff, he understood my requirements and gave me practical suggestions to the planning. Jeff's speedy understanding and practical suggestions was the key reason that I decide to go with him. The 3D design and theme was just what I had wanted. Just some minor colour changes and materials in the cabinet laminates and it was good to begin renovation. Jeff has been very prompt and responsible in taking charge of the works and arrangement. He gave me constant updates by taking videos and photos in showing me how the progress had been. I think I have only been to the site twice from the start of renovation till completion. My husband and I engaged Swiss Interior for the renovation of our 5-room BTO flat, as they provided the best designs with reasonable pricing among the IDs we contacted. This was our best decision as the result turned out superb! Desmond managed our project, and throughout the renovation he was very helpful and was willing to advise even for areas outside of the renovation (eg. maintenance, cleaning, purchase of curtains -any questions we had, we would ask him and he would answer). Where possible, he would also help us to get better quality materials for things like our counter tops and aircon, and did not charge us extra for these "upgrades". Though COVID-19 made the renovation process longer due to safety restrictions and reduced number of workers, Desmond still tried his best and we were able to move in in time. Know what theme or "feel" you'd like your house to have, do some research online - Pinterest is a great platform to search for inspirations and design samples. Having a tight budget but yet wanting a dream home can be difficult. However both my partner and myself were so lucky to have met Jeff and I can say that he has made our renovation journey relatively smooth and enjoyable despite this pandemic situation. We engaged Swiss Interior and hired Jeff as our ID for many reasons: 1. He listens to our needs. Many IDs would just add whatever that we wanted without emphasising the issues that we may face. Mr. Desmond from Swiss Interior was our ID. When we met him the first time and shared our requirements, he understood them very well and took time to give us lot of suggestions / options and good ideas to finalise every item. He gave us a very comprehensive quotation with break up of each item along with measurements and within the budget we had mentioned to him. When the works were in progress, he gave us regular updates and was always available to discuss some minor changes/ additions. He was helpful to give us contacts of shops / companies to purchase various items and also came with us and offered good suggestions when we had to decide some key items. When we wanted to do some modifications to some furniture after they were almost installed, he did not make an issue and did his best to do whatever changes that were reasonably possible. The work was completed within the time he had initially told us inspite of lot of uncertainties / disruptions during the Covid period. During this journey we felt Desmond was more like one our family member and more than us, he was interested to handover the house in time and in perfect condition. He attended to all the minor works promptly without having to do any follow ups / send reminders. We found Swiss Interior to be a professional company and ID Mr Desmond a sincere and trust worthy person.

We sent quote requests to a few firms and James from Swiss Interior stood out to us for his efficiency and responsiveness. What impressed us the most was how he suggested a new type of finishing for a certain feature we wanted that achieved the same look and at a better price which other ID’s could not do or did not know about. The prices quoted were reasonable and competitive too and breakdown was detailed and transparent. During the reno process, James was very accommodating to our requirements and responded quickly to our queries. He gave good advice and input such as aircon placement and hiding of trunking. He proposed a lip instead of a curb for our shower area and it made such a huge difference to the overall aesthetic. Small details like these that we would never have thought off were regularly suggested by James. Payment schedule and top ups for certain areas were conducted in a very relaxed manner and we never felt pressured by James. Work schedule seemed very fluid and adaptable and he seemed to have good rapport with his workers. Workmanship turned out great as well especially for carpentry. Due to Covid, his main carpenter had to soldier on solo but I don’t think workmanship was compromised. All in all it has been a great experience working with James and till now he is still responsive in touching up our home when we require.

Sent out a few enquires to a few IDs (including Swiss Interior) and decided to go ahead with Jeff right after meeting him, as he is very knowledgeable and approachable. What really left a strong and good impression was the fact that he offered to meet us onsite on our very first meet-up, and listened to our ideas, while offering his suggestions and advising us what was and wasn’t feasible. Jeff responded to us almost immediately whenever we ask him for updates or queries no matter what time it is. When he had doubts with the installation of the products that we purchased, he also did his own research as well as consulted us before installation. During the CB period, I spoke with 7 IDs and Kent was 1 of them. His sincere and approachable attitude finally won me over and at the very last minute I decided to switch to engage him. From the start, Kent is very service orientated and responsive to my queries. He doesn't hard sell or talk big. He listens and tries his best to provide the design and ideas I want for my home, at the same time he will highlight to me areas which can be done better or pitfalls to avoid. Quotation given is transparent, reasonable and within my budget. Despite his busy schedule, Kent is always contactable, patient and doesn't shy from admitting his mistakes. Kent assured me they have workers ready to start on the renov once govt gives the green light and true enough, the renov was carried out promptly and completed within the time frame of about 8weeks. Even though there was some misunderstandings/hiccups in the process, Kent is quick to rectify the problems and remain professional in his job. After he hands over the flat to me, he continued to follow up with touch ups and maintenance works. Overall I'm glad for my newly renovated home and look forward to return to my solace everyday. Of cos life is not 100% perfect and smooth sailing, so is the renov process. I have learnt it will not be realistic to expect a perfect home with perfect workmanship after the renov regardless of which ID company you engage. But most importantly, Swiss Interior is reliable and provides a 5years warranty post renov. I think good chemistry with your ID is important, you must be able to communicate with your ID. Speak with a few IDs to get a feel of who and what you are comfortable with to entrust your renov project to.

We got to know Maybelle from Swiss Interior at the Qanvast Fair in Oct 2020. As we were first-time flat owners, we were unsure about the whole renovation process and budget required. After a few meetings with about 4 to 5 interior designers from various design firms, we decided to engage Maybelle due to several reasons: 1) Maybelle was very patient in answering all our questions and provided us with useful insights at our very first meeting. This was even before we expressed any interest in engaging her. 2) Even though our flat is a resale HDB with only minor renovations needed, we could still sense Maybelle's sincerity and professionalism from our initial interaction. 3) Maybelle was very meticulous and really listened and took down whatever concerns we have in terms of budget and design ideas. 4) She sent us a quotation by the promised date. Kent was brilliant! I can safely say that my renovation project would not have been completed at the speed and quality that was achieved without his dedication and inputs. He has a very personalised approach to his clients and projects and is very reassuring. He listens to my ideas but is also quick to identify potential flaws and issues that might crop up in the future. I love the way in which he is able to illustrate the solutions to potential issues such that the wife and I can easily understand. One of my pet peeves is when I cannot get people on the line, and I never had that issue with Kent. If he did miss a call, I always knew that he was probably with a client and would give me a callback in the next couple of minutes. I honestly believe that all of this is important when you are engaging in a massive renovation project. Whenever one mentions ‘renovation’, Kent from Swiss design comes to our mind. This in fact, is our second gig with Kent. We did our HDB renovation with Kent 7 years ago, and Kent has been taking care of us since then. Kent handled another recent renovation of our condominium flawlessly too. His professionalism, and meticulousness are top notch. It’s often that he could remember every single detail that we emphasized on, though we as house owners even forgot at times. On top of that, he always takes the costumer’s side, advising us constructively over practicality, durability and cost of the different choices we have to make along the process. At first, we had too many designs in our mind and sometimes people just want their home to be pefect yet due to space was not practical. The process of choosing was tedious, especially we doesnt have any experiences. Along the way of matching the laminate for cabinet, kitchen and wall feature colors was so difficult due to matching.

Hence she help us to sot it out our ideas in mind with her knowledge given, which leads us to find our ideal theme. We are so lucky to have Catherine, she was reponsible, extremely professional, willing to go extra mile service, being friendly and attention to detail, even a minor defect from HDB she also look out for us. She assist us by engaging a group of contractors was so fantastic in their hand skill work.

In additional, she suggested accessories that are on trends which gives us more choices which help us save space, gives whole house look more spacious and easy access.

Through out the project, she co-ordinate with all the contractors eletrical, city gas, carpentry, painter and bring us to lighting shops. Happily shopping together and purchase goods that match the theme. She always keep us update with the progress in whatsapp, well communicate and it takes off my anxiety when approach her for enquiry.

Aforemention, everything went extremly smooth and whole renovation process within 4-5 weeks. In my opinion, a good ID should have a good eye for design (A+ to Catherine for this!), be hands-on, responsive and diligent. They must also be able to multi-task, deal with unexpected issues calmly and have the creativity to think outside the box when required. In these regards, Catherine has met all these criteria and then some. Not only did she stick to the rather strict time frame we gave her, the quality of work is superb too. The whole renovation journey was made extremely smooth and enjoyable largely due to how organized and diligent she is. Updates were always done regularly which resulted in a worry-free renovation. Throughout the process, you can tell that Catherine genuinely cares about providing the best possible work and to fulfill the renovation goals of her clients. This personal investment is highlighted in these examples: 1) When our furniture from TB came much sooner than expected on a Sunday, Catherine took the initiative to come down to help us with the sudden delivery without even being asked to. 2) Before signing with Swiss ID, we actually signed with a direct carpenter for wardrobes and direct carpentry. Despite those things not being under her purview, Catherine still provided us with design ideas and advice to make sure our carpentry turned out as well as possible. The advice also proved invaluable in helping solve some hiccups with the direct carpenter. 3) As with all renovations, problems and rectifications are to be expected. Catherine never once shirked her responsibilities for these issues and always addressed them promptly and thoroughly. Of note, some of our tiles had warpage and Catherine did a fantastic job coordinating with the supplier and her tiler to replace all the warped tiles. 4) Despite the handover being done, Catherine is still prompt in responding to our queries and doing any necessary follow-ups plus rectifications. The aftersales service has been great. 5) Most importantly - all of her subcontractors were hardworking, provided quality work and were able to execute our vision impeccably. Not only, they are easy to talk to and were extremely courteous. A big thumbs up for them too! Overall, it really was a pleasure working with Catherine and her workers!
