My office renovation was done very smoothly, they were able to execute it according to what we want. Moreover, they delivered well as we had a very tight timeline during the festive season. Communication was a breeze as they will update us on a regular basis. For the past several months, we have had the opportunity to work with Hooi Peng for the renovation of our bathroom and kitchen. The worst nightmare of moving house is having a tight timeline of handing over current premises and getting everything done up for a new sub-sale unit before the timeline is up. With this constraint in mind, we search for interior designers with good design and of course, able to commit and guarantee everything can be handover within time limitation of 6 weeks. Eight Design caught our eyes with the stylish modern and contemporary design. We called up the hotline and Becky who picked up our call is quick to accommodate to our last-minute same day appointment. We met up with Becky and Dante who were quick to understand our needs and quickly provide ideas and suggestions. They are indeed professional and friendly, and able to work out something we like plus within budget. What delights us is the confident assurance and promise that everything can be completed within our tight timeline. Indeed, the entire Eight Design team complete our project way ahead of time. They took just 4 weeks to handover to us, bearing in mind of quite a fair bit of carpentry and last-minute minor adjustments or requests. Product is within our expectation and we are very grateful we found the both of them and the company.

Writing a post review after our renovation was completed about 1 year ago. Our new house renovation was handled by Nurul from Eight Design. We visited 5 renovation companies prior and Nurul stood out with her professionalism and preparedness. The project was handled well and Nurul managed to deliver on time even though we only had 10 weeks for a major overhaul of a 3 bedder condo unit. There were some small hiccups along the way, nonetheless they were handled professionally and resolved amicably each time. The post renovation service is also great, as each time we spotted a small defect, Nurul will arrange for eight design in-house team to drop by to touch up and repair any defects at no additional cost. Highly recommended for your future renovations.

The design of the house is in charge by Designer Paul & Jayden Paul & Jayden had a (Zen) theme based on the budget of my house and the dream home I wanted. Paul's seriousness to work during the renovation was fantastic, with a gentle and friendly attitude. He drove me to choose the necessary electrical appliances for my home and provided a lot of advice. The dream home is finally complete. What a beautiful and warm little Japanese home. We are very blessed to have Eight Design handle our renovation. Xavier (Business Development Manager) and Ryan T (ID and Project Manager), were engaged to help us salvage and rectify our extremely poorly renovated new home (by our previous ID contractor). Both Xavier and Ryan reassured us that they would try their best to help us "clean up the mess" left by the previous contractor (who had failed on multiple occasions in their rectification jobs). Eight Design did an amazing job and exceeded our expectations. They were patient in listening to our concerns, respectful of our home and budget, meticulous in their planning (from Design-> Execution-> Delivery of end product), and ensured that the delivery of the final product was not only fit for purpose, but aesthetically pleasing as well. Ryan personally checked through every item (painting, carpentry) and rectification works that was done. He also arranged for us to meet with their in-house electrician when we needed advice. Their in-house carpentry (made in Singapore) workmanship is worth a shout out. In addition to the good quality of material used (we can tell that they had given consideration of the thickness of the shelvings of the filing cabinet- they are thick and firm to withstand heavy books and folders), they also saw to the finer details of the exterior of their carpentry (eg: gold trimmings). Ryan made sure he married functionality with beauty and would often share with us his ideas generously. Both Xavier and Ryan went above and beyond their renovation job scope of our home- when we needed help to verify many items in our invoices from our ex-contractor, they readily helped by providing their expertise. Very thankful that Eight Design managed to successfully rectify and make our home one that we can be proud of.

I'm glad to know Ker Ying & Hooi Peng from "Eight Design". They are friendly and intelligence in design, when we 1st meet up for discussion of what we would like our home to look like, they very polite and patient to listen and also willing to share some information of what they think can improve from what our original plan. After our conversation and discussion end, they inform us that within a week or a few day will let us know the outcome, their promise is very efficient, within the period that they give us really contact us and inform us to go down to see the completed drawing layout. When we saw the drawing, the drawing look super nice and cosy. They also brought us to a place that we can buy kitchen utilities, bathroom utilities, ceiling light, ceiling fan & automatic laundry hanger as we told them that original hanger obstruct some of our kitchen cabinet under one roof. Contractor worker and contractor management from "Eight Design" also friendly and helpful. We need extra help out from the range like install extra wall light and bathroom window blind, they also willing to help without extra charge. Air-con wise, they also help us find affordable system 2 air-con as we still headache of what brand to choose. We hereby thanks both staff and contractor workers and contractor management from "Eight Design" for the best work man ship and hardwork.

The original fixtures and fittings were worn and tired-looking but Nurul and her team turned things around with their passion for quality control and meticulous design work. He is patient and accommodating, listened to our requirements and offered advice and opinions without being too imposing. Found Eight Design on FaceBook with promising and convincing advertisement. Overall design was drafted within a week which is great due to the limited time we have to shift in to our new house. Final design was firmed up by the 3rd week after the first met up. Renovation works started on the fourth week without much hindrance Great Team making continuous efforts to push renovation project on schedule, even under current high demand situation We are able to shift in quite smoothly on the planned day! Becky of EightDesign deserves some recognition for her efficiency in planning, designing, amending and coordinating the works. We were not an easy customer to begin with as we have our expectations and have some experiences in the industry, but she nailed it. We were slightly concerned as Becky was of a young age but we she proved us wrong as we were able to reach mutual perspectives quickly compared to the more senior members. There were times where she would take the initiative to relook into the design plan and propose alternatives, with resources and research so that we could comprehend her idea. She also introduced us to new technology that fit our requirement well. In all, we only spent 2 months for a full renovation of a BTO that included some hacking, platform building, light switching and more. This is impressive and more than half the time, she'll be at site and 100% of the time on her mobile to assist. Great work from Becky and EightDesign's team.

I was lucky enough to have one of the best designer ED has. SinYee and Hooi Peng in the beginning and Paul also helped out in the end to make sure work continues when one of them is on leave. I must say they work very well as a team so the entire process is smooth and seamless for me. HP was very flexible to accommodate the our requirements and changes along the way and yet the timeline was plan was executed very smoothly and successfully so we could move in to our new home as per our plan. Pricing wise, very reasonable as compared to other IDs we have shortlisted.

Eight Design was picked among the many because of the number of projects they have handled. Our renovations was handled by Alvin and HP. From the start of the first meeting, they were very willing to follow up closely with our requirements unlike others who feel that we were having a low budget. Numerous meetings were held until a final conceptual design meeting our requirements were finalised and deposit was made followed by an official quotation and agreement. All process was made very legal and without issues, From the start of the renovation, either HP or Alvin was at site to follow through and each of our feedback during the 2 months were taken very positively and corrected immediately. Along the way some additional changes were made and they accommodated our request. Alvin and HP were also professional to see through other coordination with other suppliers which we have arranged. They were also instrumental in providing their advice ok some areas of design which turn out more favourable than our own proposal. At the end of the project before handover, some small request for fit up services such as security cameras etc were rendered, I am sure most clients will be very happy to note this. Eight Design have a team of good experienced workers including their electrician who knows their job well. I would feel families looking for an interior design team will be happy with Eight Design. As a meticulous person, I researched on multiple property- and reno-related forums and platforms and shortlisted those with good reviews and ratings. Thereafter, I will check the google reviews/ratings of the shortlisted options to see whether the ratings are consistent. From this list, i narrowed down to four IDs, consulted them and embarked onto the journey of finding an ID for my reno works. Prior to this process, My wife and I have also met other IDs who called us, but their service was nowhere close to the four that I have met. All four IDs were really good, but 8 Design stands out for me due to the following reasons: - the ID - Cheapest quote (before GST) The second reason is self explanatory, and I would elaborate more on the first reason. Becky is my ID, she is extremely patient because I ask many questions. She has an answer to all my questions and if she don’t, she will research and make sure she does. I am impressed by her professionalism and working attitude. She is very responsible and replies to my messages within 10 mins or by end of the day, at the latest. This is very important to me as I heard of horror ID stories where the homeowners couldn’t get hold of their IDs. Becky is really good at assuring and instilling confidence in my wife and I. Although some designs are not exactly practical, Becky will do her utmost to ensure that the design idea works to its best. Becky manages the project and the phases were timely executed. All appointments were fulfilled, there was no no-shows. The reno was completed in less than 1.5 months. Becky always explained the process and reassured us of anything we were unsure of. Her exemplary service continues even after sales. She manages to schedule touch-ups and defect rectification appointments shortly after my call, even up till this point when I am giving this review. I sincerely thank Becky and her team for reassuring us along this hectic journey and build our home without giving us that many hassles and with great support. Not sure about other IDs, but I will strongly recommend Becky if you are looking for an ID who is reliable, patient, executes and delivers the project in a timely manner, solves the problems that are posed to her (including budget issue), she is definitely your go-to ID.

We have engaged Nurul for our new bto renovation works. She have shown professionalism in her works and she managed to give us great ideas on the design that we wanted. She's able to comply with the changes that we wanted at a very last minute as we can't make up our mind. Despite her tight schedule, she managed to complete this project before CNY. Will like to thank the ID, Daniel, for his help in doing our wet kitchen at our house around Dec last year, even though the schedule was a bit tight. There was a bit of delay due to the weather but he managed to get it done before CNY. He has covered a lot for our house, including patching up the exterior wall, repainting, installing ziptrak for the wet kitchen and patio and doing the wet kitchen counter top, cupboard and awning. He has been nice throughout and we will want to work with him again, moving forward. The costs for the works is not cheap, but that is partly due to the rise in labour and material costs. As for communication with the sub-contractors, he has done as much as he can even though it could have been better and it is not entirely his fault that sometimes there is a breakdown in communication.

We are very fortunate to have Alvin Soo and Hooi Peng from Eight Design Pte Ltd to design and build our new dream home! We had waited very long for about 5 years for our BTO due to covid and when we finally collected key in Nov, had to rush to find an interior designer to quickly renovate it so that we can move in before CNY in Jan. After visiting three interior designer companies, we decided to engage Eight Design as we found Alvin Soo and Hooi Peng, who attended to us, to be honest in telling us what can or cannot do and yet able to meet our requirements. We also feel very comfortable talking to them, and that is very important when finding the right interior designer whom you have to work with later, especially if things are not done right and have to be refined. Our decision to engage them proved to be right. Alvin Soo and Hooi Peng really listened to and worked meticulously on our requirements, and quickly came up with the proposed design which totally reflective of what we had in mind for our dream home, even though it was a public holiday. They are very responsive and maintain their good attitude and service consistently throughout, even after we have already committed to engage them and paid majority of the renovation fee. When we highlighted certain shortcomings and adjustments to be made, they also swiftly followed up personally to rectify and send us pictures of the rectifications, without giving us any issue or excuse at all. Both Alvin Soo and Hooi Peng are also very friendly and have very good sense of humour. We can always joke with them and yet they are serious in getting our dream home done. We feel more like dealing with friends. They do not behave like some egoistic interior designers that we would have problem dealing with. We had bad experiences with some interior designers previously during our previous houses, but it's a completely pleasant different experience with Alvin Soo and Hooi Peng this time. We can also sense that they are genuinely forging a long term customer relationship with us, rather than seeing this as a one time business deal. When our new home was finally done, impressively it looks almost the same as the 3D presentation that they had shown us weeks before! The renovation was also swiftly done and even ahead of schedule, such that we can now move in way earlier before CNY. Nurul was introduced to me by a family member who had had had some work done from Eight Design previously. She took on my small contract on short notice and also helped me source a renovation loan, which was much appreciated. Generally, the work was cpmpleted on time with minimal fuss. I live in Hougang Ave 3, an old town with old flats, so I think of renewal. Renovating your home has great many challenges and endless headaches and the last thing you want is your renovation contractor that “CON” on you! So, to safeguard myself, I decided to find a company that is CaseTrust “Accredited” and under HDB “Directory of Renovation Contractors” to see the past performance of the company. I found Eight Design Pte Ltd met these criteria. I finally engaged them to do the renovation works as I was happy that Hooi Peng, designer that handle my case is thoughtful and engaging and understand the needs of HDB home. Throughout the whole process of designing, costing, choosing the relevant materials, implementation and final completion of the works, Hooi Peng has shown professionalism and care. And when there are problems due to errors, she has the patient and the right temperament as a project manager to solve the issue at hand. All projects of any magnitude will have problems, some anticipated, so out of the blue, it is important for both the owner and contractor to show flexibility to solve the problem and it is in this spirit that my home renovation was completed on time and to my satisfaction. Chose and engaged Eight Design after almost a week of non stop meeting with various ID firms. What set them apart was transparency in pricing, attention to detail during the initial planning as well as the level of communication before and after I left their studio. Peter was my ID who handled everything, from the initial planning, costs of works, actual renovation (painting, wet works, hacking, electrical, carpentry, collection and installation of appliances and lighting fixtures). I really appreciate how Peter kept me constantly updated of every stage of the process, which meant that I could concentrate on other things. Before the whole thing started I was quoted a period of 4-5 weeks before hand over, which was met, and I managed to move in completely 2 weeks before I had to hand over the keys to my previous apartment. Even after moving in, Peter was in constant communication with me regarding minor touch up services, even after the full payment was made. The quality of the workmanship was up to my expectations, and I feel the entire service was well worth what I paid for. I have absolutely zero regrets having Eight Design work on my new home, and big thanks again to Peter for his service.

Great reno experience with Eight Design . So Glad to find them for my home reno . Our designer is Aaron and he is highly recommended ! We were looking for ID during the CB time and it’s tough . But Aaron Beats all the other designers for his great sense of responsibility and initiative . He initiated a zoom meeting and hence , we had been talking abt our preferences on the design etc over zoom since he initiated the first zoom meeting with us . Becky is a great help in realising my requirements, no matter how absurd (non-existence) they are. For example, I wanted minimalistic approach to design to the resale flat and yet I did not specify what furniture I will be using end of the day and who will be staying in the apartment. Renovation was done faster than expected during COVID19. Sometimes I have abit of trouble with the electrical workers and their workmanship, this requires abit of communications and patience. The price I paid for the renovation is reasonable, though I learnt some very painful lesson: 1) It is very important to make sure that you have a design/idea in place before you sign off the renovation contract, 2) Please go through every little details of the existing property with your consultant (especially on handling exceptions/flaws resulting of the age of old resale apartment), this would have decrease the likelihood of variation and improve budget control and time to deliver.

At the end of 2021, we had just purchased our dream home and were looking for a suitable interior designer to undertake the task of renovating our home at a specific given budget, over a time constraint whilst being able to understand our requirements…we had always wanted a Balinese theme home and we had all our existing wooden furniture as well as our decorations from our previous home which we could reuse…nonetheless, we had to identify a design team who were able create such a theme home for us. We started out our search and after having briefed 4 different interior design companies…3 couldn’t understand our requirements whilst one other just didn’t have the foresight that we were expecting…we were stressed! The clock was ticking and we were running out of time as we had to move from our previous home. We decided to go back to the drawing board to cast our net wider in search of other Interior designers. Lo and behold, we stumbled across 8 Design who mentioned that our tight dateline was doable and it was during our first meeting that we were introduced to the the dynamic duo team of Batman (Clement Ng) and his able sidekick, Robin (Ryan Chong) Right from the start, we were put at ease by Batman and Robin who were patient with us when listening to our requirements. For fear of a misunderstanding, we even invited the dynamic duo to our current home to appreciate the existing theme. Batman like the analytical crime fighter and problem solver that he’s been famously known for studied our existing home, listened to each one of my family’s requirements and reverted with a initial sketch design which was 90% accurate to what we had been looking for. Not only did he understand our requirements, he also made improvements and suggestions so as to enhance the theme of our home. Our dealing was mostly with Batman as Robin was mostly involved in the logistical aspects of our project. The end result was a beautifully decorated Balinese Garden Villa which met our budget and was finished so that we could move in on time! My family was most pleased with the end results of our home and we would not hesitate to recommend 8 Design who I might add have their own in-house contractors. Brandon is patience and able to cater my needs inside the overall design. Schedule on the renovation is accurate and finish earlier then expected. Some minor issue during the renovation which is common and able to resolve it in record time. Specially love the display cabinet quality. We bought a resale unit aged of abt 20 yrs old but She helps us transform our kitchen to become a vibrant one!, with a blend mixture of trendy sleek design kitchen cabinets and some ancient Peranakan tiles, worthy of all the hard work. And ya not forgetting the kitchen entry saloon revolving door! The craftmanship was excellent. The design was classic and simple yet elegant. Kudos. Visualizing and Conceptualizing the design in 3D was a slendid idea but what intrigued me was the final outcome of the renovation works. A very big shout-out to KJ and Daniel for all their help with my renovation – they are a really awesome duo to work with! At the start of the project, KJ was very prompt in getting in touch when I first reached out to Eight Design and was also very prompt with all of his follow-ups. He also came over to my house and patiently went through the proposal that he had put together (& also very patiently answered all my questions!). Daniel, whom I met at the beginning of the project, was also of tremendous help in bringing me around (many a times!) to different vendors to help source for various project accessories for my house, provided me with constant video updates (which were really helpful!) and patiently answered all my questions (and yes, there were many!). Becky is a great help in realising my requirements, no matter how absurd (non-existence) they are. For example, I wanted minimalistic approach to design to the resale flat and yet I did not specify what furniture I will be using end of the day and who will be staying in the apartment. Renovation was done faster than expected during COVID19. Sometimes I have abit of trouble with the electrical workers and their workmanship, this requires abit of communications and patience.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

The price I paid for the renovation is reasonable, though I learnt some very painful lesson: 1) It is very important to make sure that you have a design/idea in place before you sign off the renovation contract, 2) Please go through every little details of the existing property with your consultant (especially on handling exceptions/flaws resulting of the age of old resale apartment), this would have decrease the likelihood of variation and improve budget control and time to deliver.

Brandon is a good nature, soft spoken, young designer without so much of a temper even though we took it on him due to delay cause by the pandemic which is of no fault of his, but he is still manage to hand over on the second schedule on time. He was there when our air conditioner installation to determine the best way and route to run the pipe with our own appointed air conditioner supplier cum installer. Linda has been excellent listener and meticulous to the finest details. She get our input in term of our liking and preferences before presenting the 3D drawings. Along the way, there are minor hiccups naturally. Linda is prompt to make good of any deviation or change of plan from our parts. Most significantly, the project completed on time as per agreed time schedule, despite the current acute labour shortage. Choosing the right and trusted Designer is key to living happily ever after in your new home. 2 minutes ago I got to know eight design through my daughter as we happen to be looking for renovation contractor around the same time. I must say their service are really good although there are some hiccups and due to covid some works are delayed but they manage to give us our house on time to move in. Than fix the other stuff later and our ID Nurul also time to time check and make sure things are running smoothly.

Always plan way before hand, set the budget right to the no of stuff you need to renovated. Discuss with your ID frequently and always check while the renovation is ongoing to make sure everything is done properly.

After having a harrowing experience with an ID by name Jessica from the company Studio factory, I was very sceptical and nervous on how to go about selecting an ID who can help us give our dream home. I made a cold call in Eight design and fortunately for me Clement picked up the phone. We met with Clement and Ryan the very next day and immediately both of them made us comfortable. Before we finalize the contract, he drew a sketch and gave us a fair idea on what we can expect in actual 3D. From there on, it was like a dream come true. First, we gave him a very short time of 40 days to complete the entire house renovation and he took that as a challenge and delivered on it. Few things which stood out for me: 1. He was always available and willing to give ideas and share his vast experience without any hesitation. If we were making mistakes, he didn’t think twice to let us know which really helped us getting the things right 2. If he thought, something should be added or modified, he did that by letting us know without worrying about money 3. He went with us everywhere to select and advise on movables which we purchased 4. During renovation even though the timelines were short, if we asked for any changes, he never hesitated to make those 5. Post renovation, any small problem he is always there to resolve 6. On top of that, Clement is a Chef, painter, and honestly I don’t even know how many amazing skill sets he has 7. He is not just an ID. To me, he is an advisor of a dream home. My wife says Clement is like God send to us and I can’t agree with her more. He is just amazing and I can’t recommend him enough. Way to go my friend – Keep up the good work. Please ensure you compare various ID and go with with whom you feel comfortable. Money alone can’t give you your dream home. Its important ID understands your likes and dislikes and work accordingly and is flexible

This is the first time we have engaged an ID and I must say that it has been a pleasant and happy experience for us. Nurul from Eight Designs helped us with design and renovation and was very attentive to our needs and was able to design a quality home that was exactly what we envisioned. We were able to move in on our desired date, the timing was tight, thanks to their efficient work the move in was smooth and most of the work was completed by move in date. Will definitely recommmed to friends and family!

I would like to thank Aaron and teams for a job well done. We needed to expand our current office space and decided to engage Eight Design for the renovation project after meeting up with Aaron a few times to discuss on our needs and budget. Aaron was very attentive to details and came up with professional advise and suggestions. He meticulously planned and designed our office's new look and showed us a 3D design before the start of the project. We had to move to a temporary office so that our current office can be vacant to start the renovation work. Aaron and teams assisted us on the move and settling down at the temporary site efficiently and seamlessly so that we can still carry out our day-to-day operation with minimal disruption. During the renovation, Aaron and teams executed the work according to schedule and updated us on the progress promptly. There were a few challenges such as the issue with the building management but Aaron managed to help us to resolve and we were able to move in to the new office as scheduled. We were pleased with the end results and we also received many compliments from our business associates on the new look of our office. It was much more spacious, neat and tidy as opposed to my old office. I will gladly recommend his services to my contacts and I look forward to working with Aaron again!

was having a lot of trouble trying to design my kids room. and when we engage Daniel, even thou it is a 1 room renovation, he came over and studied and propose the design. and the result is amazing. my kids love it. and we love it.

It’s been our pleasure and heartfelt gratitude to have Eight Design Pte Ltd, Ms Nurul Huda being our ID, working on our wonderful “Hotel Theme Reno Project”, As this is our 2nd time moving house, after careful research, we have decided to engage with ID Ms Nurul Huda due to her positive feedback and her outstanding designs and ideas which the end product is similar to the 3D rendering.Throughout the whole journey of our project, Our ID was always there to answer our questions and reply was always prompt. The coordination and efforts are indescribably excellent. Any unforeseen issues raised along the renovation, we would be alerted and received immediate feedback and open for discussion and solutions. We could see the strong drive and responsibilities from her. When we step into our new home, we have to pinch ourselves again because we thought we are in the 3D design as it looks exactly like what was renderred. Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Aaron is highly recommended ! We were looking for ID during the CB time and it’s tough . But Aaron Beats all the other designers for his great sense of responsibility and initiative . He initiated a zoom meeting and hence , we had been talking abt our preferences on the design etc over zoom since he initiated the first zoom meeting with us . We were really impressed with his sense of initiative and responsibility , as compared to the other designers . And during the whole process , he was able to manage the entire project very well with no delay in the handover ! Kudos to Aaron and thanks to him we were able to move in so smoothly to our new home , with no delay !

Find a responsible designer who not only can design well but can manage the whole project for you without any delay !

Also, they should box up instead left expose wire behind the fridge. More importantly is the safety was not met regarding the end cap required when they dismantle the gas stove. It could be dangerous if the water heater is turn on and at the same time if the induction cooker is on, it could ignite the gas flowing inside the kitchen cabinet causing harm and explosion. If all these shortcomings are corrected and improved on it will be a perfect designer choice.

Experienced in both commercial and residential projects, they provide excellent concept/ design recommendations & suggestions; not forgetting our personal preferences. The concepts they provide are stylish and in accordance of latest trends yet integrating the practical aspects for home users. They are patient and work according to budgets that we can afford. They also provide hassle free and personalized solutions using their expertise and advise us not to make common mistakes that could cause future problems. Ensuring that the design ideas are evergreen and also considering future possibilities of changes made due to the changes in lifestyle. They even assisted us in advising the kind of accessories that we can include which are more appropriate for our theme in order to make our house look more appealing.

My advice to future homeowners is as per the above description the interior designer must posses the qualities I mentioned. Yes, it is important you must set a realistic timeline and budget with your ID before starting of the project. This is important to prevent any future mis-communication or unrealistic expectation.

Good ideas with eye for details. Designer frequent updates on the status of the renovation with pictures. Have to appraise her for her patience and professionalism as we believe we are one of the most fussy and difficult customer. Accommodates all our request and very sincere in giving her opinion. Overall very satisfied. Although some minor glitch and issue, it is considered normal and she managed to solve it soonest possible. Very highly recommended.

Survey as much quotes as possible before deciding. Met with really pushy contractors who wants us to commit, do not fall for that. Low quotes does not mean low quality, high quotes does not mean good. Check for the contractor way of talking, how he is able to meet your requirement without any other unnecessary comments. Insist on the design that you want, after all you are the one who is staying there so your satisfaction counts. Lastly, there is a lot of hidden cost, compare it with friends who has done home reno before deciding.

Yes, we would recommend Eight Design. They comprise of experienced professionals whom you can trust to create the dream home you've always wanted. Throughout the planning process, they made many excellent suggestions and provided many innovative ideas that complemented our vision. They also constantly did their best to accommodate our preferences. Overall, it was a pleasure working with them.

Workmanship and quality are the most important features to look out for when selecting an interior designer. Go with the interior designer who is committed towards high standards in the final product. We would strongly recommend playing and active role in the planning for renovation. For us, it helped that we have searched for inspiration in magazines and on the internet. Our interior was timely and responsive and that helps to streamline the processes.

Yes, I will recommend to my friends who have just received their keys to my interior designer. I have also recommended to my boss for renovation for our office. Carin was very patient to listen to what I want and she totally understands my needs and even give me some good suggestions on top of what I prefers. During the whole renovation period, Carin could be easily contacted and she was very responsible. Carin delivered what was promised and her service had exceeded my expectation. The renovation was completed a week earlier from the given time frame. 1 am very happy with the work done. Carin was committed and had put in a lot of effort in getting the right furniture. She was very efficient in scheduling the work and arranging for the furnitures to be delivered. She has also displayed her expertise by turning my house into my dream home. She has a few good contacts whereby she is able to get what I want within a tight budget given. I am really very thankful to her as the renovation was completed nicely.

I would consider budget as the most important thing to decide before any other things. Without a budget, the interior designer is unable to meet your criteria and help you build your dream house. Finding a trustworthy interior designer is also a headache to most homeowners. Interior designer by word of mouth is safer than those in the roadshow. Eight Design was introduced by my sister and I have seen how they helped my sister built her dream house. The designer has performed her professionalism. What we want for our dream house may not be able to fulfil due to certain reason, but, with the help from the professional, we are able to live in our dream house. Proper scheduling also acts as an important criterion when choosing interior designer. Without proper scheduling, everything will be cock up and will exceed the timeline given. This may cause a lot of inconvenience for the homeowners. Responsiveness is also important as whenever you have questions with regards to your house, the designer must response you asap, especially during the renovation period.

The person in charges was always been in contact throughout the renovation process. The person in charge welcomed the changes and delivered what was promised. The renovation was completed within promised time frame and 1 am very pleased with the final work. The person in charge was committed and put in a lot of effort in assisting me getting the right furniture. The person in charge displayed her expertise in interior design by turning my house into my dream home. The person in charge has a good eye for detail and very efficient in organising the work. With a tight budget, I am impressed that the renovation can be so nicely done.

The challenge of getting the house renovated can seem so daunting. You need to consider your budget and what type of ideas you like. Renovation is not something you can change every month or every year, you have to live with it for 3 years or so. Therefore, it is very important that you get professional to do the job. Some of the designs in our mind might not work out, we need to talk to the professional and they will highlight what is workable and not workable. Therefore, we need someone with patient and someone who has a lot of ideas. Also we need this person to be very detailed and responsive. We can look at some projects that has been completed by this person. The best is to view the completed job, if the owner is willing to let you view will show that the person has done a great job that the owner is so pleased that they allow you to view their homes.
