Nordic Wood
Flight attendants Elona and Kovan have acquired a 1600sq ft Pasir Ris Executive Apartment. Wanting a quiet, soothing place to live in, both asked for a clean and natural palette – less distraction, but more style. In order to comply with their request, we have transformed this resale flat into a Nordic marvel, with muted, natural tones that will give them the atmosphere of tranquillity.
Solid plywood with laminates pervade the home. Two bedrooms come with floor-to-ceiling cabinetry that also gives an interesting texture to the walls. Drawers are installed with Blum soft closing system. On the ceiling, track lights are positioned in many directions, providing necessary illumination in the space.
The kitchen is designed with Nordic inspiration in mind. For the countertop, white Kompacplus tops the dark-wood cabinetry. Silver-metallic appliance adds a glossy touch in the otherwise wood-and-concrete textured room. Timeless white cabinetry is stationed overhead, tying up all the colours in a classy, serene interior.
