Zen Ng was the ID we worked with. Read positive reviews about him and the company before deciding to go ahead. His service was good initially. He provided helpful suggestions during the planning/design phase, and was very responsive to messages. But it soon became a NIGHTMARE after we moved in. MULTIPLE DEFECTS were found, which made me question the workmanship. Examples include MISALIGNMENT of the kitchen cabinet, INCONSISTENT colour on laminate of bedroom cabinet, LEAKING bidet and showerhead in bathroom, LEAKING tap in kitchen, LEAKING aircon, PONDING of water on balcony, UNSEALED GAPS between cabinet and floor, SCREWS NOT INSERTED into shoe cabinet causing shelving to COLLAPSE, and MANY more. I have inserted some pictures below for reference. Despite finding these defects, I’m actually ok as long as they get fixed. However, Zen gave EXCUSES TO TRY TO AVOID FIXING some of them until we put our foot down and insisted that they be rectified. Some of the defects are so BLATANT that it’s ridiculous that Zen actually TRIED TO REASON HIS WAY OUT of fixing them. For example, you may refer to the pictures below showing kitchen cabinet misalignment, and also ponding on balcony, which Zen ATTEMPTED TO AVOID FIXING until we had to angrily confront him and they were eventually fixed. But why do I have to insist it be done instead of Zen simply doing a proper job without giving so many excuses, especially when the defect is so obvious???? Furthermore, Zen’s ATTITUDE CAME ACROSS AS CONFRONTATIONAL during such instances. In fact, he did apologize once when he felt that he might have offended me. However, I can’t help but think of situations where he’s able to get away from fixing these defects if a homeowner were to be more passive in nature and simply agreed to his excuses in order to avoid conflict. Fast forward to today, there are still defects that have not been fixed, one of which (moisture in bedroom wall beside toilet) where the cause could not be identified. I also have constant air-con leaking issues, of which only some have been rectified. Have highlighted the remaining air-con issues to Zen but HAVE YET TO HEAR BACK FROM HIM, which is a stark contrast to his very responsive nature in the initial stages of this project. Overall, I’m very disappointed in the service provided. CAN TALK, BUT CAN’T EXECUTE properly.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Although Image creative interior design is not the cheapest design firm, however it is well establish. At least do not need to be afraid that it will run away with ur money. We are luckily to find a professonial and provative ID, Gillian to work on our project. She updates us very closely on the renovation progress. Sometime even allow us to make changes to the work already done without extra charges. She always try to accomdate to all our requests. Very nice and polite! Hard to find ID like her. Workmanship is better than average too. They even change the white cabinet lining to wood grain without extra cost!

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

You can go to expo fair for compare prices and talk to different ID. Eventually, try to find a ID which is proactive and reliable. ID firm is case trusted.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Dorothy has transformed my apartment with technicolor and slick modern designs to make it feel much bigger than it already is. Using mood lights to draw our eyes up and around the entire space, it exercises our eye muscles and keeps us interested in exploring the dynamic setting. With the usage of cool colours, it enhances the look and feel of the room to be spacious and cozy as well. Furthermore, the colour grey conveys a mysterious and sophisticated look in design. Thus making the room look classy.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

Dorothy has proposed stylish interior designs, drafted out a schedule of the renovation works and kept very closely to the schedule. Above all, she was very detailed and exacting with our renovation requirements, especially with the materials involved, and the locations of all the power points, lighting points etc. Everything as written on paper and we did not have to second guess what is coming next. She also monitored the renovation works very closely, and any flaw was quickly rectified. The entire renovation was completed to our great satisfaction, and on time. We commend Image Creative for having such professional, pleasant and highly motivated staff in your midst and we would like to thank Dorothy and the entire team for an excellent job. We will certainly recommend Dorothy and Image Creatives' services to those who require ID and home renovations.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

In today's market, space is a luxury and that doesn't mean our apartment can't feel beautiful, and can't function perfectly. Maverick and Wei Teck have done that for our home and did not sacrifice style for space in these flats. Sleek designs and neutral palette maximizes the space and makes it feel bigger. Using sleek and smooth surfaces makes the apartment feel glossy and luxurious. Our designer focused on a clean color palette, white was used for an airy feel, but warmed up with dark toned walls that draws the eye up and alludes a larger space.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

In 2015, we had planned to renovate our home. After seeing many ID firms we had decided on Image Creative when we met Mr.Maverick Ho & Mr. Wei Teck Tan at an Oct event in Expo. Subsequently, we visited their office and were impressed by the designs. After viewing the workmanship at an ongoing project, we then decided to sign up with Image Creative. Thank you Maverick & Wei Teck for the functional & aesthetically pleasing designs and also for completing the tasks and delivering on time. The lead times for planing and implementation was very short but they did it meticulously. They were very friendly, easy to work with and they also work well as a team. Their follow-up after the handing over is very prompt and good. Based on practicality we needed some adjustments for our shelving and mirrors which they attended to immediately. We are very happy that we selected Image Creative to do our home renovation. We would gladly recommend Maverick & Wei Teck to our friends and anyone who wants to do home renovation.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

With hacking of walls, it has created a spacious and cozy environment for us. In short, our home space are simplicity, elegant, spacious and quality design without being too boring.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

Christopher, was the ID that Image Creative has assigned to us and was at that time working concurrently on other 2 or 3 projects. From time to time he would jump from his other project to ours and vice versa. During this stage, we could see his patience, his determination to finish our renovation and his leadership skills. Even if he takes an hour to book a cab, he will certainly drop by our place to check on the progress. He would even come early in the morning to talk to his people so he could give them instructions. And when there are hurdles or questions by his staff and there is a need to call, he would answer them promptly. Until now, I still couldn't believe how our flat was fully renovated in a months' time and that was really FAST! Christopher has been very professional from the very start. He know his stuff. From our meetings and presentations, he has shown his skills. He has an eye for elegance, simplicity and quality. And do from his work of art, come an excellent result.
