Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Yes. Dave was the ID for both my younger sister and myself and he is very responsive, reliable and listens well. He takes my husband and my feedback very seriously and strives to build the design that we want.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

Have a strong idea of what you want, because if you don't, then you will pass your confusion and inability to make a decision to your interior designer. Most importantly is to understand what you budget can get you, as well as to get an interior design that you can trust.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Yes, I would recommend my ID to my friends and family. I have asked for 3 quotations, D5 Studio Image was not the cheapest. But I have decided to hand my house project to them as Jason, my ID at then was attentive to what I want, before start of renovation, he will first understand my character and the style I would like then he would give the recommendation to my place. He surprised me with his proposal. That's when I knew I can leave my house to him with a peace of mind. He would go the extra miles to search for the things I require. He does not do necessary mark up because he search for item for me. After service of Jason is good as well.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

My advice to the other home owners is to participate in providing their designer with what they have in mind as their dream home. Timeline & etc. should be worked between home owners and their designers, as each home are different. It depends on how big the area and how much work is required for the renovation. I do not think I am in any position to justify the time line and generalize it.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

I would definitely recommend Jason Lee to anyone who is looking for a reliable interior designer. He communicate effectively and understand my requirements which saves a lot of time for discussion. He is also very meticulous and responsive helping me to check for defects in my flat when I first took over the unit from HDB. Overall, I am very satisfied with the final look and workmanship.

He is very responsive and attentive able to complete the project within the agreed timeline. Excellent workmanship so you can have a piece of mind.

First of all. D5 Studio were prompt in coming back to us with a quotation and what we like the most about them is that they were patient and able to fulfil most of our requirements within our original budget. I have heard unpleasant stories from friends and online about their renovation journey, fortunately, none of these happened to us with D5 Studio. Dave was efficient and responsible from every aspect he handles the project, he is always available when we wanted the latest updates and progress of the renovation.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

Engage a few ID company for their initial proposal, then filter down to the one that fits your budget and which appeal to you the most. It's also important that you and your ID have some sort of chemistry, otherwise it's very difficult to come to an agreement with one another along the way. Do make sure that very thing the ID agree to provide is listed down black and white to avoid mis-communication in future, as they might be handling multiple project at the same time which can be confusing to them.

TERENCE IS SOMEONE THAT IS FUN TO WORK WITH, GOOD CHEMISTRY & FULL OF ENTHUSIASM. HIS RESPONSIBILITY AND IMMEDIATE ACTIONS ON THE PROJECT HAD DELIVERED TRUSTWORTHINES TO HOME OWNERS. TERENCE IS DEFINATELY SOMEONE THAT PUTS HIS EXPERTISE IN PLACE & MAKE IDEAS INTO REALITY, AN INTERIOR DESIGNER IS NOT SOMONE THAT ONLY DESIGN AND MAKES INTERIOR PRETTY, HE NEEDS TO BE A PROBLEM SOLVER. HE NEEDS TO GET TO THE HEART OF THE ISSUES AND DESIGN SPACES THAT HAVE THE FUNCTION, AESTHETIC AND QUALITY THAT IS PRACTICAL FOR DAILY USE. AT THE SAME TIME HE GIVE ADVICES ON OTHER ESSENTIALS STUFF OF THE HOUSE (EG: LIGHTS, HEATERS) TO MAKE PURCHASES A BREEZE. SOMEONE THAT LOVED HIS JOB WILL DO HIS JOB WELL...

MY ADVICE TO FUTURE HOMEOWNERS WOULD BE TO FIND A TRUSTWORTHINES INTERIOR DESIGNER AND TRY TO GIVE IN YOUR THOUGHTS TO THE DESIGNER. MOST OF THE TIME THEY ARE MORE EXPERIENCE AND HAS GOT BETTER PRACTICAL IDEAS. SECONDLY IT WOULD BE COST, FINDING OUT THE COST OF YOUR RENOVATION IS NOT EVERYTHING, YOU WOULD NEED TO FACTORS IN OTHER COST LIKE PURCHASING THE KITCHEN HARDWARE AND SANITARY STUFF IS ALMOST IMMEDIATE UPON YOUR RENOVATION. THIRDLY IS TO GIVE FULL COOPORATION TO EVERYONE THAT IS INVOLVE IN THE RENOVATION THAT WOULD REALLY SPEED UP THE PACE OF COMPLETION.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Jason Loo would be the ideal interior designer that I would strongly recommend to my families and friends. Precise, upfront and no beat-around-the-bush guy as he can provide sound and practical recommendations to our house. He can deliver our house on time despite our several requests and some hiccups. After-sales service is also excellent as he provide remediation on some minor defects that we have encountered with no hesitation.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

- Be precise in the kind of theme that you want for your house.- Ask for expected timeline you would wish your renovation to be completed. This is important to see whether the ID can deliver your house on time. - It would be good if you can create a whatsapp group chat with your ID and he/she can response to your idea/feedback to the progress of your house. - For quality workmanship, if you are comfortable with a certain ID that you have engaged, do request to go and view some of his/her completed or in-progress projects. This will give you much assurance and confidence whether they can deliver according to your expectation.
